These orphaned installer entries are normal and used to bother me, being a little ocd about keeping a nice clean system. But I've learned to ignore them. They are completely harmless annoyances. However, if you want to remove it. The easiest is to delete it from the registry (sub-key under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall), but

Two Feat(ures) Forward, One Sprint Back I'm not ready for Logos 9, so I'm not going to try to answer that. While there have been tremendous advances with Logos 8, I don't feel it has been fully delivered. So, my reply doesn't apply to Logos 9 and is more meta, but I thought I'd toss my 2 cents in here anyway. I agree with most of the other posts in
So while I doubted a reinstall would fix it, and no good software should need to be reinstalled to fix stuff, I've done so anyway.
Correct. A reinstall usually is unhelpful at best. A Repair is occasionally useful. IIRC, the RegisterSmartTags script cleans any old COM registry entries and registers the the COM lib in

The search on logos.com (incompletely) supports field search syntax much like the Logos library. Try something like -publisher:perseus -author:"William Shakespeare" price:0

I love flexibility, customizability, and user choice. (I wish Faithlife would give over on their inflexible policy in Logos.) But this is a swing to the opposite

  • Re: 30,000+ new product pages on logos.com

On the search results I’d love to see a button to jump directly to ebooks product page. The logic is there to hide the buy buttons; it’d be nice to see alternate button(s) to Visit on ebooks and maybe Buy on ebooks (add to cart and open the cart). Not sure about Wishlist button. It sort of uselessly adds it to logos.com wishlist where it’s
We plan to do the same for Logos books on ebooks.faithlife.com soon.
I think it's an awesome and appreciated addition to logos.com. However, is it really desirable to put Logos editions it on the ebooks site? It might lead to more sales or more confusion? Might be more interesting to just have a link

(Invoking the FTSE) How would performance be using virtual machines? Create one for each user, stored on a fast network drive(???), then load it from any client? I'm not familiar enough with VM drive image performance issues across a network to know if that's feasible.

Maybe this has been suggested before? or some existing solution? I would love a better way to take notes when listening to a sermon. The reverse side of the sermon editor. Mobile First, but desktop/laptop also. Mobile/laptop for initially taking notes (Active Listening!) and organizing/retrieval. Desktop+ for advanced study tools for follow up study

The results for our library is typically the reason we run a search. IMO, It should be populated whether expanded or not. The primary results of any feature should be populated whether the section is expanded or not. Otherwise, by default, any section that causes high cpu/bandwidth usage should be delayed until expanded. By Default. ...But it would

Post-search. For searches in general, not just bookstore. Maybe we need a faceted browser for search results to help wade through the thousands of search results we sometimes get back. Thanks very much for the ability to search the bookstore! I hope it's a big win for everyone.
