Any decision on this yet? I went to add this on a new install of Windows and saw the above error is still present. It also shows an error when you enable it for the lock screen in-app but it does work, enabling the lock screen and showing on the lock screen. It must look broken and abandoned to new users. Maybe, at the least, a note could be added to
https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/496 Vote here
Thanks, James. Though, I’m a little confused on voting for that issue. Seems like the same issue but combined with a different issue. Hope Faithlife can get clarification and possibly split that in to two separate issues.

I like being able to show pre-orders, pre-pubs & community pricing on the desktop app homepage, but the ratio is ridiculous. Two to three per "screen" would be about right. Or let us adjust the ratio. I hate turning them off, but they absolutely crowd out everything.

I'm measuring 3.89:1 contrast ration on the red letter text which is below the WCAG recommended 4.5 :1 minimum. Shifting the color to pink/purple can easily get to or near the AAA enhanced rating 7:1. The mobile app comes close to that (I think--I haven't actually measured it there). Why do the desktop different than the mobile app?

This is an excellent step in the right direction. However, while I love the dark UI, I find it difficult to read on a dark background. Please enable the selection of resource background while in Dark Mode. https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/789

Why did Sales tell me they are allowed to wave the down payment for people who have an existing payment plan but not for new plans? In general, I understand and agree with the requirement for a down-payment... for those who don't have or have a limited payment history. I just finished off a $300/mo payment plan 12 days ago. I've been giving Faithlife

Are all the tied-in counseling resources included in the base packages or is there going to be a counseling feature package? What's the best way to ensure this feature is fully filled out?

I heard Carta mentioned in the stream. Anyone got hands-on yet? How's the quality?

Select white/black mode from resource menu. Open App menu at bottom right and enter any sub-menu, eg Settings. Tap out, closing the menu Change to the opposite color mode Go back to the App menu, and then Back out of the sub-menu to the main menu (More Items) Incomplete color switch, making the menu unreadable. Also, in Dark mode, on/off switches In
The main benefit I was looking for was the early features that they're going to release for the next Logos update, BUT that has been cancelled awhile back. I haven’t got around to checking this out yet, but this is a Chrome issue, though I only see it on iOS and not desktop. Is that where you see it? It is extremely annoying.

The Stylish extension isn't recommended. I used to suggest it also until it was pointed out to me that it was bought out by a data mining company that uses it to track users. It was once banned from Chrome & Firefox stores for that reason. I'm not sure if or to what degree that has changed. There is an open source fork of Stylish before it was bought

Not offered by Faithlife but somewhat on topic: ArtScroll are offering some free excerpts of various Chumash on their site. And more substantial free offering in their app.
I do hope you get your dark mode - I am not a fan of it at all - I swear it is harder on my eyes than the normal mode.
It is. Most of the actual evidence available points that way. Unless you're reading in a darkened room. Evidence also seems to indicate a greater accuracy rate reading for dark text on light background

Nicely written by Bob Pritchett. I hadn't seen this posted here and missed it when first posted on medium https://medium.com/@bobpritchett/on-living-through-a-pandemic-5c6ea0d2ec06

there is no need to duplicate them
The price-point is so low, and there's so much the Logos searches and CitedBy's can find, I'll re-purchase.
