I strongly recommend against the use of registry cleaners/optimizers, so do most experts I’ve read. Microsoft recommends that you do not use them and they do not in any way support their use. They are not proven to make PCs faster. They are usually not the best solution to any problem. They can break apps or break Windows. I used to use CCleaner
pressing Ctrl when starting does no good
Make sure that you press and HOLD Ctrl until you see the login.
After a recent Microsoft update for Edge, the "White-Off" theme for Logos stopped working. Tampermonkey no longer listed the "White-Off" theme as an installed script and I couldn't get it to reinstall the script. So today, I removed and reinstalled Tampermonkey, then reinstalled the "White-Off" theme. The "White-Off" theme

These orphaned installer entries are normal and used to bother me, being a little ocd about keeping a nice clean system. But I've learned to ignore them. They are completely harmless annoyances. However, if you want to remove it. The easiest is to delete it from the registry (sub-key under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall), but

Two Feat(ures) Forward, One Sprint Back I'm not ready for Logos 9, so I'm not going to try to answer that. While there have been tremendous advances with Logos 8, I don't feel it has been fully delivered. So, my reply doesn't apply to Logos 9 and is more meta, but I thought I'd toss my 2 cents in here anyway. I agree with most of the other posts in
Try this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/455981922012311/
This thread was for an Official Faithlife group. Your link is to an UNOFFICIAL group.
So while I doubted a reinstall would fix it, and no good software should need to be reinstalled to fix stuff, I've done so anyway.
Correct. A reinstall usually is unhelpful at best. A Repair is occasionally useful. IIRC, the RegisterSmartTags script cleans any old COM registry entries and registers the the COM lib in

The search on logos.com (incompletely) supports field search syntax much like the Logos library. Try something like -publisher:perseus -author:"William Shakespeare" price:0
But I'm concerned that Faithlife are making this more complex than it needs to be.
When I read the post above, my response was exactly the same as Mark's. I love flexibility, customizability, and user choice. (I wish Faithlife would give over on their inflexible policy in Logos.) But this is a swing to the opposite

On the search results I’d love to see a button to jump directly to ebooks product page. The logic is there to hide the buy buttons; it’d be nice to see alternate button(s) to Visit on ebooks and maybe Buy on ebooks (add to cart and open the cart). Not sure about Wishlist button. It sort of uselessly adds it to logos.com wishlist where it’s
We plan to do the same for Logos books on ebooks.faithlife.com soon.
I think it's an awesome and appreciated addition to logos.com. However, is it really desirable to put Logos editions it on the ebooks site? It might lead to more sales or more confusion? Might be more interesting to just have a link

"Life Lessons" fits in the Study Guides category. From my short list of Commentaries (Unclassified) - An exported Excel sheet on OneDrive.
The title of the commentary is usually the least informative part of working out what the commentary is!
Agreed. We've been asking for this change for ages, but Faithlife seems to prefer to torture us. Other than hovering over every entry in the list to find what you're looking for, the other flavor of torture is to

currently the first option above is supported but anxious to see other options. To search for an exact price enter it in the searchbox: price:5

This happened once before: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/178922.aspx Hopefully Faithlife will find a quick solution.

(Invoking the FTSE) How would performance be using virtual machines? Create one for each user, stored on a fast network drive(???), then load it from any client? I'm not familiar enough with VM drive image performance issues across a network to know if that's feasible.

Maybe this has been suggested before? or some existing solution? I would love a better way to take notes when listening to a sermon. The reverse side of the sermon editor. Mobile First, but desktop/laptop also. Mobile/laptop for initially taking notes (Active Listening!) and organizing/retrieval. Desktop+ for advanced study tools for follow up study
