  • Sermon Editor and spellcheck

I love the sermon editor feature. My question is this; is there "spellcheck" in sermon editor or have I just missed it? If spellcheck is not a feature will it be someday? Thanks and blessing, Pastor Mick

  • Re: Update has started!

Here is my experience for what it is worth. I have a MacBook, about a year old, i7 with 8gb of memory and the SSD running Yosemite. My download in Logos 5 was 2.2GB. It got to 44% and stopped. After a coupe of hours with no further progress I stopped Logos and then restarted it. Logos began to index the updated resources it had downloaded so far. After

  • Re: Disappointed

I haven't read all the enteries in this thread but did read several pages of comments some complementary to Logos and some fairly critical. I have been in the software business for a long time now and trying to use words precisely is always an issue. Seems like the wrong word to use here is "upgrade". L5 may not be the excat correct word to use. Logos

I work in a IT department and no doubt Logos has a Project Manager. It would be nice to see a list of projected dates when features they are working on may be released. Not that we would hold them to it in a literal sense but at least those of us that are dedicated users would have an idea of what they were working on and when we might expect its release

[quote user="Lynden Williams"] What is the latest build number? Mine is 4.30.0.1516. My ip address has changed recently. Anyone have any idea when the Windows RC will be available

  • Re: What's so wonderful about having an iPad for Logos?

Like many posts below, the iPad will be almost complete when it has 'highlighting' and 'notes'. Would be even better if those features synched with my laptop Logos app. So if I am studying on my iPad and make a note it will be synched to my laptop, same with a highlight. Having said that, I carry my iPad everywhere and conduct Bible Studies using my

Last two 'major releases' for iPad have been about 30 days apart. I am hoping that notes and highlighting will be in the next release and hopefully around the first of May. But that is just hoping in my part.

  • Re: iPad Wishlist

Thanks Chuckk. I use the NJB Study Bible as my main Bible. However Logos only provides the NJB (not the study Bible). So I have undertaken the task of adding all study notes from the study Bible to my Logos NJB in a special note file so that they are available to me while studying in Logos. I have another note file for personal commentary entries. Then

I am sure the following has been suggested before but I just purchased a iPad and love the app for it. So a big thank you to Logos Team for the work done so far. I do have some input on where I hope the app may be able to go in the future in meeting my personal needs in teaching and writing. I enter lots of notes in my PC version of Logos 4 on my laptop

Thanks to Dominick and Kevin for your quick response. I followed Method 2 but no resources displayed. When I started Logos 4 again and allowed updates it is half way through downloading 6.6 GB of updates. I assume it is downloading my resources????? I will see as soon as it finishes. I will let you know what I discover. Thanks again, Mick

The misconception is that "liberal" and "conservative" positions lay on a "straight line" with the extremes being in the far right and far left. Life does not exist in a "straight line" but in a "circle." A person on the left side of the circle can move so far along the circle that they end up on the right. In addition, the opposite is true as a person

[quote user="Alain Maashe"] This is where a tablet like HP slate running Windows 7 (coming this summer) gets interesting. it will allow access to my entire library and will have all the usual functionality.
