Robert: The gray bar across the bottom of your image which has the words "Bible Word Study on {greek/hebrew}" is actually a button. Press it, and if resources are available for that word, you will get a Word Study. At least it works that way for me. Esther

I NEED search capabilities.
I'm with Patrick. And Logos' current plan (copy & paste on 9/29/11 from FAQs) is: Full cross-library search online Although this will be nice, it won't meet my BIGGEST need. If I've already downloaded my favorite Bible, I need to be able to find a verse when I can't

Just came here today to see if there was something I was missing about how to do a search on the Android app. From the above posts, looks like it just isn't there. My $.02: VITAL. Please get search capability for this app! Esther

  • "we noticed you haven't upgraded to Logos 4 yet."???

Wha???? I've been running 4 for so long I can't remember when I upgraded. Why did I receive this message when I opened my Logos tonight? I'm just worried that there's something I don't know, some base I haven't covered...some bible study disaster that will nuke my program on 9.30.11 [:'(] Esther
I think when one uses the home key the application remains running for awhile. To save resources (memory, CPU and battery) go into Task Manager (see all apps), and put Logos (etc) on the two minute automatic end list . This will shut the program off two minutes after you quit using it (note: this is available in Droid

Loving it, but... Would love to have a "close" option that shuts down the entire app instead of having to back out of several screens. Running on Droid Eris. Have I missed something? Esther

I deleted the plan, but can't delete it from Outlook except one item at a time; in other words, I have to go to each day and right click and delete each entry. Any help? thanks. Esther

Well, here I am again, the layLady, asking about Personal Book Builder. Everyone talks about this so much, and now we have it. What in the world is a layLady to do with the thing? What applications could a layperson use PBB for? Enquiring minds want to know... Esther
The personal book

M.J.-- You said: " However, for daily RCL users there are additional daily steps. For Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there are readings to interpret in light of what was read/studied the preceding Sunday; for Thursday, Friday and Saturday there are readings to interpret in light of what will be read the upcoming Sunday" Whatever other problems I may

Richard said "it would be impolite to have an argument with the teacher over some point, with the rest of the class just listening. Sometimes the differences on subtle points can make big differences. It's possible that you know something the teacher doesn't. It's also possible that the teacher considered your point and rejected it for some subtle point

  • The Diligent Audience Member/Owner

So...I asked my pastor this question, and was curious also to get a broader perspective: for those of you who preach and teach: If you have/had an audience member who owned Logos 4, what would you want them to do with what they learned from your sermon/study 1) before they arrived to hear you and 2) after they get back home to their computer? How can

Hello all: I am in the process of memorizing a passage of scripture in French, and need some pronunciation help, as even with 12 hours of college French and diligent work in Rosetta Stone I am still not fluent by any means. I looked for La bible du Semeur on audio online, but there doesn't seem to be one. Can someone help? I would prefer to have a link

Douglas; This sounds like the best setup for my situation yet! So you take your laptop right into church, eh? I've thought about asking, but still feel George's reluctance. Probably it is good sometimes to just sit and let the diligently-preached Word wash over us; but I am encouraged that some people really are taking their laptops into church. As

Another thing I realized that I'd want to have up is the highlighter tab. I have a specific (but simple) set of my own customized highlighting styles that I use when reading scripture, and I like to be able to mark things right then, when I come across them. That would be no different than having a

There's something about bringing a piece of technical equipment into the church and sticking your nose in it that simply doesn't appeal
