  • Re: Resources from TAN books

I love "Divine Intimacy". The Intro alone is worth the price of the book. I would like to see it in Logos as well. I'd like to see more TAN books, too.

  • Info descriptions for papal documents

I have noticed that some of the papal documents have specific descriptions when you click on the "info" button, but others have generic ones. For example, John Paul II's Redemptoris Mater and Redemptoris Missio both have descriptions about those documents in particular whereas Redemptoris Custo just has generic text about both papal encyclicals and

  • Re: Dynamic Pricing Question

I did a test of this with the January free book of the month (plus 1). Starting off, there was The Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges (58 vols.) for $399.99, which I did not own anything from. I picked up the Commentary on Genesis for free and the Intro to the Pentateuch for $0.99. Now, I own two of the 58 volumes. Individually, the volumes all

  • Question about the Audiences of John Paul II resource

I just picked up the Audiences of John Paul II as part of the XL Catholic Studies Bundle (thank you, Logos, for the Christmas gift! ). In going through it, I notice a lot of gaps in what audiences are available. I know this is likely related to the gaps in what English audiences are available on the Vatican website. A number of years ago on my blog

  • Suggestion for improving the Saints index

I really like the Saints Index. It comes in very handy. I think it would be even better if it had links to the saints as they appear in Butler's Lives of the Saints.

  • Re: Suggestions for future resources

I thought of a few more. Servant Books (now a division of Franciscan Media, formerly known as St. Anthony Messenger Press) has lots of great titles. Logos already has Scott Hahn's "A Father Who Keeps His Promises". But Servant has also published a series of reprints of classic works of Catholic biblical theology that were hand-picked by Dr. Hahn and

  • Re: Companion to the Catechism

Good point. I think it says my library has ~95% of the citations in the CCC that link to the original source. So I am missing 5%.

  • Re: Companion to the Catechism

Not that I'd mind seeing this book added, but doesn't Logos pretty much take the place of this resource as we can click on any footnote to be taken to the primary source? Though, I suppose, it would make it convenient to read side-by-side with the Catechism. It would eliminate the need to keep hovering over every footnote. That would be nice.

  • Re: Library Search?

i just came to the forum to ask this very same question. This did the trick! I was wondering why searching for a particular author or publisher did not yield the same results on the app as on the my desktop.

  • Re: Suggestions for future resources

Thank you for the welcome. :) I've been using Logos for a couple years, but finally had the chance to upgrade to a Verbum package. Now that I think about it a bit more, there are a lot of USCCB resources that could be added: National Directory for Catechesis Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan Go and Make Disciples Renewing the Vision Doctrinal
