• Change in Dynamic Pricing on Modern Catholic Authors Bundle?

Was there a change made in the dynamic pricing of the Modern Catholic Authors bundle? My dynamic price is about $30 higher than it was a couple weeks ago.

  • Re: Logos giving up on certain prepubs

I would add: 4) Post expiration dates Not that the expiration date has to be posted from the beginning. It could be an internal timer. But when it gets to, say, 30 days out, then a visible timer could go up on the product page. Emails and blog posts could go out telling people there are less than 30 days to get this selection of titles over the line
Yes. I see a lot of Pre-Pubs were removed from my Order History page and no e-mail was sent. I am not sure exactly what I had there. Can only recall 4 or 5 books.
The stated plan is to email everyone with a list of what pre-pubs they ordered were cancelled, but I don't think it has gone out yet. Here is a post about
I would very much like to see JP II's Catechesis on the Creed that he gave in audiences from 1985 to 1991. These were published in 4 volumes by Paulist Press in 1996 and following. There is a 5th volume on A Catechesis on the Mother of God also part of the audiences. Long out of print and the text at the Vatican website is woefully

  • Re: Navarre bible commentary- any thoughts?

I have the complete Navarre set (AKA the "Standard Edition") in Verbum and the one volume New Testament (AKA the "Compact Edition") in print. The Preface of the Compact Edition spells out the difference between editions (there is also a "Reader's Edition" that Logos does not sell). Of the Compact Edition, it says: "This Compact Edition contains the
Thank you for that partial list. I hope and expect that at least most of the magisterial documents will return in other forms. I found them generally too highly priced, although I had placed or was thinking about placing orders for collections that survived and ones that did not. Identifying and re-offering some of the more
Happy to say that I've learnt much and had successfully created a personal book. In any case, I'll purchase a copy of it when Sensus Fidei releases.
Glad it worked for you. I keep meaning to spend more time learning the ins and outs of the Personal Book Builder, but I haven't gotten there yet.
Wow, some of the texts pulled were pretty fundamental- I'm thinking specifically of papal encyclicals of Leo XIII and other early 20th century popes. Since these are already in the public domain, I imagine that the main cost would be the labor necessary to throughly tag them with live links. Would Faithlife ever consider adding

We've updated it. We haven't given up entirely on the Liturgy of the Hours. Our hope is to work out the rights for Psalms

  • Several Catholic pre-pubs have been pulled

I saw in the general forum about the change to the pre-pub program and went through some of my old wish lists and noticed that there were quite a few Catholic collections pulled—including the Liturgy of the Hours and a number of collections of Church documents. The product page for the Grail Psalms should probably be changed since we can no longer get
A "last chance" effort would have been nice. But I'm guessing it probably would not have made much of a difference, considering the items removed had all been up for a long time and were still a long way off from meeting the threshold. I'd be curious to see if there would have been any significant movement on any of those
This is a very disappointing way in handling this situation. I just ordered a pre-pub last week that now appears to be gone. Could FL not have done some kind of simple announcement of pending deletions (say 30 days), minimal promotion (email, forums), and seen if that notice moved the needle sufficiently for a few of those
What's happening with the Master Journal Bundle 2.1? I thought we were moving to quarterly updates?
I recall seeing that as the stated goal as well. It's been 5 months since the first bundle dropped, so I'm guessing (as with many things in life) it's taking longer than anticipated to produce. Perhaps once it really

  • Re: Purchasing Sensus fidei

As the document is on the Vatican website, you could always make it into a "personal book" with the Personal Book Builder tool. It won't have all the tagging of a regular Logos resource, though.

I think Kickstarter is a good fit for a project like this. I see some pros and cons. Pros: The different levels of giving with different rewards. Gives people options The option to donate as much as you want on top of that. I've seen many occasions where people lament something languishing in Pre-Pub or Community Pricing and say that they would gladly
