  • Re: March Madness 2016

I'm sort of hoping that they stick to the same format. The C. S. Lewis collection came out last year and I'm guessing he would make the cut (for the first time since he his books weren't previously on Logos). I'm hoping he then makes it far and I can pick up the collection at a nice price.

  • Verbum free-book-of-the-month and monthly sale?

I noticed on the Noet forum that the Noet freebie of the month has been discontinued for the foreseeable future ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/122433.aspx ). Is the same going to be true for Verbum? Normally, the free book of the month and the monthly sales are posted on the website by now.

[quote user="Louis St. Hilaire"] It doesn't look like were going to see a complete overhaul of the Summa soon, but I'm hoping I'm can do a limited update to get the major missing references (Aristotle, Dionysius, Gregory's Moralia ) and some basic things like heading fields sometime this year (maybe this summer?). Sorry for the delay, the recent layoffs

  • Re: Anchor Yale Bible sale - Catholic volumes

I noticed that 12 of the AYB volumes (the ones by Brown, Fitzmeyer, and Blenkinsopp) are part of the Modern Catholic Authors bundle (and their respective author bundles). So if that is an aspirational purchase for anyone, then you may decide to choose some of the other volumes by Catholic authors if you are deciding between several volumes. Of course

[quote user="Matthew"] Maybe as virtual reality technology improves we will one day be able to take VR tours through our digital libraries - and be able to pick out whatever kinds of bookshelves we want! Not sure there would be any practical benefit to being able to do that, but it sure would be fun, not to mention a great marketing tool. Prospective

  • Re: Paulist Press Classics of Western Spirituality Bundle (126 vols.)

Yes, it does look like a great set, and it would be nice to have all those titles, but it's a large chunk of change. I'm more interested in the pre- and post-Reformation Christianity bundles than the non-Christian religions bundle, but those former two sets together cost more than the larger bundle. So it wouldn't make much sense to go that route.
