  • Re: Logos on Multiple Computers?

Thank you for the welcome. I have debated buying Logos for weeks, but haven't. I want to....but Olive Tree DOES have Highlighting and notes, something I believe is critical for study. I am truly amazed Logos does not have it.

perhaps if I were a pastor and tied to my office, you would be correct. I use my ipad and STUDY. I can click on links and connect to commentaries, dictionaries, parallel sources, etc. And then, when I like what I see, I CAN HIGHLIGHT so that I can go back to those verses and I can make notations so that I can do true study. It is true, I do not use

ok....let me see if I can explain better. When I click on the Logos App on my Ipad and go to home page, the first thing there is "Read the Bible in a Year" Under that, there is a section on "Devotionals". Under that, there is a section called "News". If I click on the "Read the Bible in a year", it takes me a screen with dates on it. I click on a date

Getting SOOO frustrated. ok...so I decided to add a reading plan of NT in 6 months. So, I did. Now, on my top toolbar, if I scroll across, there it is NAB NT in 6 months. If I click on file, it is there, NAB NT in 6 months. BUT, if I click on actual reading plan in the file menu, it comes up as NAB in one year. AND on my ipad, it still shows NAB in

I understand. But IF they do not sync, then why did it sync last night and then how do I change the reading plan on my ipad?

I am not sure I explained myself. Lets say I make 20 highlights on my ipad. Is there a way I can click on something on my ipad and go to all those 20 highlights?

Thank you, I will. I know the POC can do it, but I really do not use the PC to study. I use my ipad and iphone. Easier to carry around and study wherever I am

  • Re: Reading Plan

Darn. I really wish you could access all your highlights. On Olive Tree Ipad app, (and all the platforms) I can go to my highlights and, for example, I can go to my purple highlight (for scriptures about God's Glory) and pull up every highlight I have done in purple, see every verse I highlighted, and click on a verse to go straight to that verse. I

  • Re: Highlighting for iPad

I was sent an email 2 or 3 months ago saying a desktop version would come out by the end of January that would sync highlighting and notes between platforms and, by George, that is exactly what happened. Say what you will, but I like that better of promises of "soon" for a year

well? it is almost the new year....almost time to start the new reading plan.....and still no highlighting......maybe y'all can call Olive Tree and ask them how they do it since it does not seem to stump anyone but logos.......

Rev. Perhaps you should learn to be a little more fair and less biased. I responded to someone telling me to get a life. Now, it appears you believe THAT was being "Christian" and "Charitable", but I did not. And I am free to speak my mind, especially when what I got was not free, but paid for by my hard-earned money. And I did not slander anyone. In

Rick, truly no need to apologize. This is a discussion board. I believed it was a place to vent, request, praise and just chat. Today, I vented. I have been an Olive Tree user forever, and love it because of the highlighting, etc. But, I thought I would take a shot and try Logos, even though almost all of my studying is on my ipad and iphone. I was

Kelly, you are simply wrong. I was not upset at your comments. I was just amazed that you were so biased. Someone told me to get a life...it was very rude. I responded. You chose to chastize me and not the one who first took it personal to other users. This is twice you have gotten it wrong. I certainly hope you fare better in your congregation, should

only thing I wish Logos had right now was a way, on your ipad, to access all your highlights and notes. I think that is pretty important.

  • Re: New Ipad and update to Logos base package

I was not clear...I apologize. I can see my highlights when I make them. What I mean is, let's say I use blue for verses regarding forgiveness. I wish there was a way to click oj something that would bring up all my blue highlights so I can see all the verses I highlighted in Blue. OT does this. I widh Logos did. I SOOOOOO want Logos to be my default
