  • Re: Highlighting Question

Let us assume, for the moment, that I have not shown charity. The Bible says to turn the other cheek. Instead, I have one person tell me to get a life and a Reverand accept that, but chastize me for my response. Perhaps I just misunderstand the Bible. Am I irritated? Yes. I paid a lot of money for a product because I was told that this would be available

Rick, as a disabled Vet, I could care less what you believe. I did not mention it for anything other than what I typed. To show that I have a right to voice my feelings. And, based on y'alls posts, it appears that charity is only expected from certain people in the "Christian" world.

Rev. Perhaps you should learn to be a little more fair and less biased. I responded to someone telling me to get a life. Now, it appears you believe THAT was being "Christian" and "Charitable", but I did not. And I am free to speak my mind, especially when what I got was not free, but paid for by my hard-earned money. And I did not slander anyone. In

Settle down, little whippersnapper. I have an awesome life. I did not pay for Olive Tree, and they can sync across devices. Apple can. Kindle can. Several apps can. Yet the program I paid a LOT of money for seems to be unable to do it. As to it actually happenbing, I have heard that line for many months. Now, take a few deep breaths, put down your GI

well? it is almost the new year....almost time to start the new reading plan.....and still no highlighting......maybe y'all can call Olive Tree and ask them how they do it since it does not seem to stump anyone but logos.......

  • Re: When are we going to see highlighting on the iPad?

as was the comparison to the Judgment Day.... but all joking aside, many people will start new reading plans on January 1.......highlighting would sure be handy for those new reading plans..........

or perhaps highlighting is more like Judgment Day......it sounded like it would happen soon, it has never happened, but now and then someone says they know when it will.......

Well, been hearing "soon" for months. When apps like Olive Tree can sync notes and highlighting between platforms yet this program/app that costs way more just keeps saying "soon", it becomes irritating and sad. If they can;t do it, just tell us and I will get a refund on my program and go back to Olive Tree.

perhaps if I were a pastor and tied to my office, you would be correct. I use my ipad and STUDY. I can click on links and connect to commentaries, dictionaries, parallel sources, etc. And then, when I like what I see, I CAN HIGHLIGHT so that I can go back to those verses and I can make notations so that I can do true study. It is true, I do not use

Not sure about the reading vs. study. Olive Tree has a ton of study materials from dictionaries, study bibles, maps, encyclopedias, commentaries, etc. So, not sure what you mean. On top of all those study materials, they have highlighting in various colors so you can theme highlight, and they have notes. Now, I know they do not have computer yet (it

  • Re: Logos on Multiple Computers?

Well, I tend to study more while I am not at my computer. I use my ipad and iphone a LOT. Olive Tree has sent a message that they will have a desktop version very soon. Don't get me wrong, I like what I see with Logos. But, for the kind of money it costs, it ought to be able to do what the less expensive companies can do.

Thank you for the welcome. I have debated buying Logos for weeks, but haven't. I want to....but Olive Tree DOES have Highlighting and notes, something I believe is critical for study. I am truly amazed Logos does not have it.
