  • iOS Logos Sermon Editor

I've been looking around on the Forum and haven't found anything yet. Does anyone know if the sermon editor feature that is available on the desktop version of Logos will be made available on iOS for my iPad? This would be a game changer as I think about updating devices in the future. I think the laptop as we know it will become obsolete and tablet

  • Re: Error in synchronization

I googled how to show the hidden library folders and then you sent the article, too. Thanks. I deleted the file and after re-downloading missing resources and indexing, all seems to be in order. I had to reload my personal books, which was a little of a hassle, though, but no worries. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Thanks Dave, but that path doesn't exist on my computer. At least, not that I can find. I've used the terminal to show hidden files and I still can't find it.

  • Re: Cloud syncing and lost work

Ah. <cough> Ahem. After I shot off my previous retort, I went to fire up the sermon editor again. On a whim, I scrolled through my documents and found my sermon. The work was there and saved. Thanks, Logos. Feeling a little sheepish now.

  • Cloud syncing and lost work

For the most part, I am enjoying the new update. I am getting familiar with the sermon editor and using it as a part of my work flow. However, I just had an issue with the program crashing and me losing all my work. (insert rage face here) How often does Logos 7 auto back up? Are there settings I can adjust to make sure that the program saves and syncs

  • Re: Question- Will increasing RAM improve speed/performance in Logos 6?

I have an 2.5 Ghz i5 iMac with a 500 MB HDD. I had 8 GB of RAM, but recently upgraded to 16 GB. (Apple says that 8 GB is the max for a mid-2012, non-Retina MacPro, but that's another story. Needless to say 16 GB works fine.) Anyhow, with 8 GB of RAM, Logos was practically unusable when indexing and the rest of the computer was sluggish. After switching

  • Importing Personal Books

I recently migrated to an iMac from a PC and have installed Logos 5. Other than a few minor hitches with the installation, all seems to be working well except that I cannot access my personal books. Were those backed up to the cloud and therefore, downloadable? Or do I have to import those books somehow? I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance

Jack, Thanks for the tips on the logfiles. Hopefully, its not an issue I have to delve into often. As far as the layout crash, I was not using the Bible Sense Lexicon. I trimmed down some of the resources on my desktop and the issue seems to have taken care of itself. Thanks for your interest. TZ

Graham, When I tried to reload the old desktop, Logos crashed again. So, it looks like I'll set it up again on this computer and see what happens. I don't think I'm missing anything, but it is going to have to take some more looking. Thanks for your help and if anything comes up, I will be sure to drop you a line. You've been a great help! Thanks, TZ

Graham, FYI, the blank layout worked. Now, how do I load my old desktop. Will I have to set that all up again, or may I go back to the old saved version. Secondly, when I speak of all my resources, with this new install has Logos downloaded all my books that I have ordered over the years, or just the books that were included with the Platinum upgrade

1781.LogosError.log Graham, I am a fish out of water with this new OS. Baby steps. I think I have attached what I need or apparently the URL for a file I uploaded. Can you let me know if this is what you need? I am struggling with just the basics here. Frustrating, because I move around quite easily with Windows. A steep learning curve, I think. TZ

  • Logos 5 for Mac Crashes on Startup

Hello all. I recently purchased a Mac after using a PC for many years. Perhaps I should have done more research before I installed, but I didn't, so now I'm here. The way I installed was by going to my accounts page and clicking on my most recent purchase record available for download. I downloaded a *dmg file which, I believe load the software. It

  • Re: Import Logos 3 notes to Logos 4

I will give this a shot. If I understand the principle of this, the first thing that needs to happen is that the notes in Libronix need to be formatted for Logos 4. After that, they could be moved to the new computer. Is the file location on the new computer essential to Logos 4 finding them and importing them?

I'm helping out a friend who installed Logos 4 on his new computer, but has not loaded Libronix 3. Is there a way that he can copy his Annotations folder from his old computer to his new computer so that Logos 4 will recognize them? Basically I'm asking what are the options for people who used Libronix but now have purchased a new computer and Logos

  • Re: Personal books accessible through Biblia.com

I third this motion. This would be fantastic. This personal books option is a great resource for all my miscellaneous documents I have floating about. Possibly a sermon organizer as well.
