I have tried to discover a way in Logos4 to make my note marker/indicator (the box that appears in the text indicating the presence of a note) transparent. I coud do this in Libronix, but "transparent" is not an option in the drop down palette accessed by clicking on the corresponding box in the note file. ALSO, is there a way to omit highlighting the

Sorry to add to your pain, but...after several attempts at understanding and following the steps (in your initial Post), I managed to set up and naviagte a hyperlink. I must be among the celestial elite but if salvation were this complicated...!

Bob, As a longtime user and promoter of Logos software, I have to agree--regrettably--with the criticisms of this product, specifically its promotion and accompanying (lack of) instructions. Unless I missed some important information (and I reviewed the information repeatedly), some things which should have been made clear in the product publicity/promotion

Bob, Just for the record--and to add a positive voice to SO MANY OTHERS, I have been following the forum discussions closely since the release of the Learn to Use... videos. In spite of the rather major "oops" affiliated with this product (and I added a few words of straightforward but hopefully/prayerfully not overly or overtly negative comments myself

In total agreement!

PLEASE add the ESV atlas very soon. I have the atlas and its accompanying CD; they are wonderful resources.

I last raised this issue in Dec 2009, but I still haven't heard or discovered anything. Are there (or has anyone found) keystrokes to change the font or display size without going to the drop down menu (alt+ -)? In Libronix, I could increase/decrease the font/display size in a window as quickly as I could click ctrl+shift+ . I loved this feature and

The grey-scale screen coloring makes it difficult for me to identify the active window. Anyone know how to change the color scheme or at least the contrast mode?

Suddenly lost the contents of Records of the Life of Jesus. Icon appears (with some script in window) but no Bible text. Pop-up shows icon and title but no information about resource. Any suggestions?

Yes to both. But remember that the downloading will take 8-10 hours. Let it run overnight.

Mark, Having been a Logos user almost from the get-go, I have addressed this issue with each upgrade. Even at this point, I typically bypass the "bigger" package (although by this time, I have Gold) in to use my monies for the titles that best service my interests. An upgrade to Platinum would cost me ca $250, an amount which would add the things in

Why question is related. Since I am using 2 computers, can I install beta on one without it interfering with the other? If so, how will this affect the automatic updates on each machine?

To add my 1 cents worth--I've been asking for this change from the outset of 4--local would be great, but anything would help. Some better contrast would be a great asset! My poor eyes are begging.

One feature lacking in L4 is the designation of shortcut keys so long a feature of all standard software, e.g., one can clearly see an underlined "T" for "tools," but the drop-down menu has NO designated letters/keys. I avoid the mouse like a plague and don't like having to tab/arrow down/ip, etc.

Thanks (but it sounds rather ominous--and threatening).

Mostly, I appreciate your direct contact with the user! I have been with Logos since the earliest floppies became available--and I enjoy demonstrating its capabilities for others and recommending it. I haven't felt like the promo videos do much for the non-user. What they ask for is less expensive (and in reality, less expansive) packages: "I just want

I'm right there with you. In Logos 3, I was constantly adjusting font size up and down. As quickly as I could hold ctrl+shift and hit the keys, the size was adjusted. The Logos 4 method is cumbersome and slow by comparison.

Like some of the others, I'm not having problems with the SR-2 download (running Vista). It has fixed a few items. I am, however, becoming increasingly dismayed at all of the problems associated with using Logos 4. Doing many of the things I have done in the past can now be done only through numerous "work-arounds." AND...I miss the key strokes; virtually

Great help. Thanks--I have been wanting to know how to do this for a long time.
