Howdy, On my Default Layout, I have the Information panel to the lower right of the screen. I use the "on click" option. And the information available there is just amazing! However, what I'd like to see is an option to clear the information window. With all of the wording still in it as you use the software, it adds a "clutter factor." Could a little

Thank you very much! I did indeed download that file onto the PC, copied it to a Laptop directory, and installed it on the Laptop. It ran through its paces just fine, and Voile! Logos 7.10 is now working there. I set the use NGEN to Yes, and verified that the Concordance history had the pin Concordance option available. The only concern I have is that

Yes Sir! I do have Windows 7 SP1 on both of my machines. However, neither show the NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services in the Windows Features window, I'm sorry to say. May I presume that graphic comes from Window 10? Yet the utility is definitely installed, as Logos 7.10 is working on both machines now. I will give more details in the next response

Okay, I deleted NET 4.7, rebooted, installed it. Then did Windows Update, and there were two. They installed successfully. Asked me to reboot my machine, for which I was grateful. I did so. I started Logos. Did update now. It's still at version 7.9 SR-1 (on the Laptop). No Updates Available. I tried running Logos Setup, and it said I have the most recent

Thank you, Mr. Criddle! I did indeed find that listing after you showed me the graphic. Wonderful. I clicked the little star, and it blinked, so I hope that meant something. :-) I went to my laptop, and discovered that, even though it went through the download and install process, it hasn't upgraded to version 10. I presume that's because the .NET Framework

Hi Mr. Criddle, I'm sorry but my History list doesn't show any "Pin" icons...none at all...neither on the Dell PC, nor on the HP Laptop. Both are running Windows 7 OS 64-Bit. Here is the series of steps I took regarding this and another issue: After updating Logos on my Laptop, I tried the History List, and no ability to pin there either. However, with

I'm getting error messages when I post. But then the message goes through. I'm going to try and upload my screen grab of the attempt to pin the Concordance to History. Salute! Paul

Howdy, Thank you for the update to Logos 7.10 I could set the ngen to yes in the command box. What I couldn't do was pin my concordance in the history list. It didn't show me the option when I right clicked it there. I have tried to upload a photo and can't just now on this web page. I also tried to upload my log file, but can't. It showed the following

Howdy. Thanks for the update. I was able to set the ngen to yes in the command line. But my Concordance won't pin in the History list. Thanks, Paul L. White

Thank you so much for this update. I was able to set ngen to yes. What I'm having difficulty with is finding how to pin the Concordance in the History menu. That option doesn't appear for me when I right click the Concordance reference in History. Thanks, Paul L. White PS Here is what the Log file noted for this particular update: Program Version: 7

Mr. Barnes, Bingo, Bingo! Once a month, at least one of those datasets gets updated. That's the reason, then, for the recompiling. Thank you so much for adding those details. I hope they will be listed somewhere in documentation. I think it's one of the most powerful reasons to have Logos is this constant updating. And recompiling a concordance once

PS The reason I wanted it in a document file was so I could pull up the Concordance without it recompiling. And, if you have several books compiled, then each one would be available individually...by name. Blessings.

Thank you, Mr. Criddle. I guess I'm a little confused in that ... every single time ... I have opened the Concordance Tool it would redo the Concordance build. I have it set on NASB, and all passages, and Lemma. The only thing I can think of is that NASB must have updated between the Concordance usages. I don't have the option that is shown in the link

Sorry if I am intruding, but I didn't know where else to ask this. In the new release coming shortly, I believe there was a note that any concordance search would be saved in the History tab. I'm wondering if it's at all possible to save it in a Documents file, or Guide, or something of that nature? And does this mean that, once a book's concordance
To Paul L White: Thanks for thanking Mr Hooten so that I don't have to. Yes, he is one of the "Go To" people with all of our concerns. And there are many others To Mr Hooten [and the many others]: Thanks
Don't look now, Mr. Ames, but I think you just *did* (thank Mr. Hooten)! Funny how that works, sometimes, huh? Blessings

Thank you, Mr. Hooten. I appreciate your time in educating me/us. Wanted to give you some feedback. I went ahead and ran the MS program to update to .NET 4.7 (in order to get that out of the way), and it chose to *repair* that service. In the process, there was a problem locating a utility whose name goes something like "ntfix" plus some other characters

  • Re: New Minimum Windows OS requirement for 7.10

My question is the same as Ryan's. My assumption is that the October install of Logos will call for the install of .NET 4.7 before it proceeds with its own install. PS Did I understand from earlier posts that we only have to run the NGEN utility *once* after a *software* update? And not after a *data* update? In other words, not simply after ordering

Thank you, Mr. Criddle. I did run a chkdsk utility in Cmd mode, and piped the results into a notepad file, which I've attached. 2273.diskcheck.txt However, chkdsk, even though it says it is scheduled to run and fix errors on restart, doesn't do anything on restart. I even shut off my machine, then started it again. And I didn't see the chkdsk messages
