I am sorry that there doesn't seem to be a way to edit these posts, as there are several places in my message above that need editing. Please forgive. [I wrote this before Mr. Criddle's excellent response, and then went and edited the post above. So grateful to Mr. Criddle!]

Yes sir, I'm saying that there is a distinct difference between ministry and business. In business, the incentive is Profit, not necessarily Principle. Your toothpaste company competes with the other toothpaste company for the customers' dollars, creating outrageous and shocking video commercials to keep your name stuck in the customers' minds when

Thank you, Sir Ray. I did download the epub and separate audio versions you just referenced, although I see that Logos has the audio in its software as well. This is a really excellent foray into the various ways to produce a publication for the modern times. Congrats on being state of the art. I have some programming training and experience, as well

  • Re: Start a Direct Sales Do Not Call or E-mail list

I, too, would like there to be a no-call list for telephone sales calls. As already described in this thread, we can stop the Emails by editing our subscriptions list. For those of us who love the Word, and are at the same time of limited resources, the calls become a burden and, quite frankly, an irritation to our sense of loyalty to the Word. If we

  • Bob Pritchett's new book--no Email confirmation....

Howdy, I purchased Mr. Pritchett's new book from the web page dedicated to it early this morning. I have it in my Logos software, have downloaded the Kindle version and the audio version as separate files external to Logos. However, the usual receipt confirming my purchase has yet to arrive. I presume this to be simply a switch needed somewhere on the

Thank you, Mr. Criddle. I'm swamped with chores, and had no clue as to where or how to do what you just did. Appreciate it so much! Paul

Seventeen inch diagonal. 1280 x 1024 screen resolution Landscape orientation. I can see the bottom of the pie chart if I "Show Reading View." But I still can't read the text messages that pop up when you click on the bottom pieces. I tried it in float, I tried it in panel. Just no vertical scrolling. Do these reports reach the programmers? Thanks a

  • Re: Israelite Feasts and Sacrifices--Needs Vertical Scroll Bar...

Yes sir, that's what I get also when I use the "Sacrifices" screen. But it's the "Feasts" one that gives me the problem. I can't the messages that are created below the pie chart. To answer your question, I'm using the very latest version of Logos - 6.6 SR-2 on Windows 7. My machine is a little older, from 2008, but it does have 8 gig of memory and

  • Israelite Feasts and Sacrifices--Needs Vertical Scroll Bar...

Howdy, On my machine, the Israelite Feasts and Sacrifices tool gives me a wonderful display, but I can't see the bottom portion of the Feasts chart when it comes to the information that is provided upon clicking a particular month or feast. I have tried "auto-hide" on the scroll bar, maximizing the tab, and having it "float," everything I know of. There

Hi George
but have you checked your Order History? I imagine it has a list of your purchases.
It does say which package you have purchased - but it doesn't itemise what resources you acquired as part of that. Thank you so much, Mr. Criddle. I just followed your link, and am really amazed at the flexibility and service available in this software! You sound like you may work with Faithlife, or at least have several colleagues in your life who do. What a wonderful suggestion! Paul L. White

Well, I'll be Doggoned! The trick is to use the "Details" view, and to open the Library into a floating window, and then (on my smaller monitor) scroll. My goodness! You taught me so much, Mr. Grizzard. Hope you don't mind, but I saved your graphic for future reference. Really like the way you've laid out your toolbar up top, with all of the icons.

  • SUGGESTION: A more permanent list of recently acquired resources...

Howdy, Yesterday I purchased Starter for Logos 6, and received numerous resources new to my library. On my Home Page, there was a list available of all the documents just added. I "introduced myself" to these volumes by opening each one up, and reviewing the contents, thus adding it to my Library's "Recently Viewed" sort capability. Now this morning

  • Video Links/Favorites Storage...

Howdy, I am thoroughly enjoying the daily videos Faithlife sets up each day, and especially any video that instructs us on how to use an interesting feature in Logos 6. With some, I'd like to see that particular lesson again at a later date. Or I may just peruse the video, and tell myself "I really need to come back to that one and view it thoroughly

  • Targeting a pane in Layout...

When I'm reading a reference, and it has a quote from another volume in my library, I'd like to click the link to that reference and have it come up in the same window/pane as the one in which I am reading. With my current layout, I have three windows, one for the information panel and, hopefully, dictionaries, one for the Bible (on the right side)
