Before I left home for our end-of-year service I was lamenting I didn't get to take a nap and would probably nod off in the middle of the sermon. It's now past 1:00 am and I'm wide awake (go figure ) So, nothing better to do but work on getting the reading plan into Logos; looks like it'll take me a while.
Bah
I have heard about groups reading together but never understood how this is done. Please don’t laugh or if you do then respond after you have finished laughing. How do you read together as a group?
Rosie's response is spot on. We had a small reading group at work (since disbanded) and reading and discussing books was

  • Playing Peekaboo with "Product Details"

I wish there was consistency in the placement of the "Product Details" on a resource's page (on Logos.com). It's all the way at the top for some resources and all the way at the bottom for others. Top or bottom, can't it remain just one place (preferably top)?

Anyone else interested in reading Calvin's Institutes , Doc B created custom reading plans for the Battles edition, and created a Faithlife group to share them: https://faithlife.com/read-calvins-institutes-in-2015/activity (read more in this post: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/98648.aspx ) The Institutes is a humongous resource and creating

I knew only of Yasmine with an 'e' as a female name, but I saw Stephen and thought you came from a country that puts surnames first and that Stephen was your given name. My apologies.
Yasmin, There is one last piece of advice I can offer. Run a report on Hidden resources this will reveal which resources are hidden. If this does not account for the missing resources then you are right to conclude that the transaction involving your return of the Crossgrade accounts for these missing resources. If this be the

Let's see, I was advised to return the Feature Crossgrade because it was included in the Gold package and I would save a little money that way; based on this advice I assumed that everything included in the FC would also be included in Gold. So, for a savings of $18.08 , I lose out on a resource

  • Missing Resources?

Today I ran Steve Clark's handy Logos Library Reporter and compared the current report to the last one I ran in November. It showed 5 missing resources, three of which I hid. I don't know why the last two are missing, and they're not in Hidden Resources; should I be concerned or is their disappearance part of Logos' regular maintenance/updates? Greek

  • Re: Missing Resources?
Are you sure they are not in your library? Try the same search as I did below with no space between open and text = opentext.
I ran your search; no results:
In the command box enter "update now" to see if that will download the resources. If not enter "update resources" which takes longer
I think I got censored! And all I did was suggest that some branks were in order ... at least until some more forum-appropriate device was created.
I finally learn something constructive from this thread - I've never heard of "branks" before Quite interesting (and barbaric!); off to read more.
However I don't see Feature Crossgrade (or any of the Crossgrades for that matter) listed among the packages that these two OpenSource.org resources are included in. You can see what they're included in by expanding the "This title is included as part of the following collections" section at the upper right of the product
Over the past number of years I have tried to choose a different version to read through the Bible. As 2015 begins I've decided to read the Lexham English Bible (LEB).
I was set to use the ESV all over again but I think I'll try the LEB for a change. Thanks for the idea!
