The Home Page added two cards for QuickStart for Logos 9 after the update. I have not opened that course in a while. I was able to remove one of the QuickStart dashboard cards but it won't let me remove the other one. I've refreshed the homepage and restarted Logos several times and still can't remove it.
Logos contains sense errors in Psalm 82:6 and 138:1 . Both uses of Elohim are tagged as "God (Israelite)." The first verse may describe angels or people, etc. The second verse appears to describe angels. These referents are not the one true God of Israel.
Agreed. These should definitely be changed.
-
The Psalm 82:6 reference is following the Dead Sea Scrolls and not the MT. See Heiser, The Unseen Realm for information on this and some of other tags you are pointing out.
Psalm 82:6 does not represent an issue between the MT and the DSS. The MT says: "I said you are gods, sons of the Most High all of you."
I have all the RIs for ESVCE, but not the bible (ESVCE) itself....
Same. I wish Logos had put it in the same packages that they put the Reverse Interlinear.

My library just updated. Thanks!

Here I go resurrecting an old post, but does anyone have any information on why this title seems to be no longer available, not only not in Logos, but not anywhere (electronically at least)? Was it just completely pulled by the publisher?

I just downloaded the Roman Psalter to my library. When I look at the info pane I noticed that the resource is classified as an English Bible instead of Latin. This causes it to show up in my English Bible collection and I have to manually exclude it, and I have to manually include it in my Latin Bible collection.

FYI, that function is allowing you to compare translations in the search window. If you want to compare the KJV 1900 with another translation, you would type the other translation in that box and hit enter (twice) and the other translation would appear on the right side next the KJV.
-
Right up under where it says "Verses 419 results...", delete the "KJV 1900" out of that text box and hit the enter key (you may have to hit it twice).
Still hoping :)
Same. I don't want to buy the old one (though it's on sale right now). I'm still hoping for the updated one. I already have the old one in e-sword.
NLT--I usually avoid looser translations
At first I read this as "loser translations" and chuckled. I thought, "I'm not a fan of the NLT but that's a bit harsh." lol Then I realized what you meant. Reading is fundamental. lol

I own several of the items in the Carta Jerusalem Bible Reference Collection . However, when I go to the product page I'm not seeing any dynamic pricing reflected.
Why is an interesting question. I think that primarily because I consider these to be the best overall Bible translations for study and for text comparison.
What are your thoughts on the NET Bible?
so I often supplement it with quotations from the Tree of Life Version .
I wish that Faithlife had made the TLV a part of their New Year's Sale with the other bibles. They only put on sale the ones I already own (that I'm sure many of us already own if we have a larger library).

1. NRSV 2. ESV 3. NIV 4. CSB 5. NET The first two are always the same. The other three get swapped out a lot depending on what I'm working on. The NASB also frequently makes an appearance in my top five. I've been using the NET more since I have the reverse interlinear for it now and it has such detailed notes.
I cannot find syntax search templates for BHS WIVU ... nor can I find datatype for the clause analysis. Am I blind or is FL only pretending to support WIVU trees?
Wait nevermind. I don't see the actual templates on the right-hand side either.
