Really? I am not doubting ... just never heard it (not a good sign). My problem is 180 degress opposite ... delivered blank Logos pages (I think google's page buffering that Safari is using).
I seem to only hear it when I'm in the store on a page with the blue "Chat with an Agent" box is in the right-hand bottom portion

Is there a way to turn off the annoying "bling" (chimes) sound that keeps playing every time I go to a new page on Logos.com?? It's driving me nuts. Or can the developers just make it go away? Please, for the sake of my sanity?

Please vote for this idea on feedback.faithlife.com: Charts Tool: Restore the Ability to select Verses with Results vs. Individual Results Details: In the Logos 8 "graph results' feature, we had the ability to select to display "Number of Verses with Results in Book/Chapter" in addition to being able to select "Number of Results in Book/Chapter." In

I've also added some Feedback on the Charts Tool. Please vote if you'd like the ability to count Verses with Results in not just individual results in the Charts tool: Charts Tool: Restore the Ability to select Verses with Results vs. Individual Results
And now a 2011 thread has been resurrected (among other old threads). Yep, 2020 has been a very peculiar year 😂😂😂
I thought it was Christmas, not Easter. lol

I'd love it if hitting the tab key caused the text in the box to be selected, similar to how it works in bibles. Then you could either hit backspace or just start typing the new text.

This is awesome, Phil! Thanks for doing this and letting us test it out. Kudos to Faithlife for all of the great customer-focused changes you're making.
I know that this post is only two days old, however...bump.
Wow, only two days? Time is crawling. I would have guessed that I posted this at least a week ago.
Try clicking the Edit button at the top right of this page. If you scroll down to near the bottom you should see a timezone option. Ensure that is set to correspond to your location. (I'm not sure that is the setting used within Logos but worth trying!)
Didn't realize you could do this. Now maybe I don't have to

When I used the Lemma in Passage guide section, all that came up was K&D which someone posted above, and this mere footnote in Hermeneia: M תפיך, with which the new stichos begins, remains completely obscure. A derivation from the well-known word תף “tambourine, hand-drum” (see Σ ἔργον τοῦ τυμπάνου
I explained to Richard what the problem was and he offered to, "send a link to buy a decent computer that will run logos."
Did Richard also offer to "send you a check to help you pay for a decent computer that will run logos"? Wow, I'm sorry you had such a poor customer service experience. I'm not helpful when
On the other hand we all know there must be dozens of threads over the years by users who are missing the preface in their bible and have absolutely no idea where it went.
This was me momentarily. It took me a moment to figure out why it was blank except for the timeline flags. There's also inconsistency with how the two
I agree with you Mike, but think the failure to get votes is a way to help people to understand that their preferences are not everyone's preferences.
There's a reason I didn't make this a formal suggestion. Sometimes it's also helpful to DISCUSS things with other humans to figure out what people's perspectives are
Agreed - I put this as a feedback a while ago. Please merge votes: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/use-the-logos-logo-on-top-left-as-the-home-button Thanks, James
It's weird that I searched for existing ideas and this didn't come up in my search.

Please vote for this idea on feedback.faithlife.com : Make Go Box return to default size after search Details: Currently, searching for books with long titles in the Go Box (even if you don't type out the whole title) causes the Go Box to expand and push the toolbar and shortcut items to the right. If you're using Logos on a smaller screen or half screen

Please vote for this idea on feedback.faithlife.com : Remove Non-Functional Logo from Toolbar to save space for smaller screens Details: Logos has added several buttons to the toolbar over the last couple of releases (L8 and L9). This makes the toolbar increasingly cramped for smaller screens when we are displaying two apps on-screen at once. This also
Factbook likes to link back to itself with related articles, which is great except the Web version does not have a back button. Please consider adding it.
I'd love a dropdown with a search history similar to the search panel as well.

I went to read the Preface of the New King James Version, and there was no text at all, only little timeline flags. I realized it was because I have the Bible Text Only filter enabled in the bible to not show "Non-Bible text." I opened the NABRE, for which I also have the Bible Text Only filter enabled, and have the same problem. I know that I can just
I am glad this is elementary for most of you, but not for me, I am trying to follow a training on how to use Logos 8. It references the ESV English-Hebrew Reverse Interlinear as part of the resources. I searched this reference on the website and it states I already have this installed. I can not find this in my library
