• Question of a determination of a Hebrew verb in 1QIsa^a

In 1QIsa^a, in Is. 42:3, there is a reading: יכבה. Logos has determines this verb as: Verb, Piel, Active, preterite, singualr, masculine, 3rd person. With as suffix: 3 sing. feminine. I can't see how this determination of this verb is correct. Can someone please help me with a better determination?
A word of advice, Simon. Graduate first!
Very wise words. I'll have to finish one last paper before I can graduate for the university. After that's finished, a final church exam is waiting. Between university graduation and the final church exam, I'll hope to work on the site. Until then I'm going to try to focus on my paper
In Libronix, one obtained a Personal Book Builder (PBB) module to create Personal Books (PB's). After Libronix, the idea of add-in modules was dropped and the ability to create PB's was integrated into the main program. So why in Logos 5 do people talk about sharing PBB's? What does the second B stand for? Sincerely, a very

There are some great Logos tutorials and training videos. Mark Barnes has created a great set of Logos instruction videos, which are free. Check out http://www.logosbiblesoftwaretraining.com/ Learnlogos.com has a very good and complete set of videos that gives an overview of all the Logos features. You get a lot of video material for something like
Simon, before you reinvent the wheel, such a thing exists already in several possible outlets, and is coming soon in another: 1) Have you checked out Thomas Black's site, stilltruth.com? There's a whole section on it for Logos PB's. I know Thomas had some system failure a while back and was working on rebuilding the site

I've decided to build the website. Now the next step is to find a nice domainname. I'm thinking about personalbooks dot org. Suggestions are welcome.

With the Onyx T68, there is a nice e-reader with e-ink screen that runs Logos for Android. Much better than a send-to-kindle function!

I have a lot of commentaries, but I don't think more is better. Yes, it feels good to see your commentary section of your passage guide crowded with a lot of commentaries. But in the end, most of the time you have limited time to study a passage, so you only use a limited number of commentaries. If you're working or studying in a academic setting, having

I'm thinking about creating a Logos Personal Book site, where all available Logos PBB's will be collected, can be viewed and searched by author, title, language, etc. Users can upload their own PBB's to the site (at the first upload the uploaded PBB will be checked, and if found OK the PBB will be placed and the user will be authorized to place PBB

I don't think the major academic publishers will agree with a subscription based model. Take for example the NA28, published by the German Bible Society. The GBS knows that anyone who works or studies at a university where the Biblical languages are thought will buy the NA28. So what's the incentive for them to agree with a flat fee payment for every

I think these two are the standards: * The Biblical Canon: Its Origin, Transmission, and Authority by Lee Martin McDonald * The Old Testament Canon of the New Testament Church and its Background in Early Judaism by Roger Beckwith As suggestions to add to the list of MJ Smith: * McDonald, The Canon Debate * Becker, Kanon in Konstruktion und Dekonstruktion

  • Add Language tag to Copy Bible Verses Styles

The possibility to define your own Copy Bible Verses Styles is very useful. However, I would like if it would be possible to set a a language for the bible references.
