• Re: recent Dutch Bible translations please?

BTW: Can someone please mail the authors of the Herziene Statenvertaling (HSV), and ask for their permission to distribute a PBB copy of the HSV? I have the tagged file ready, so when autorisation is secured, it can be distributed.

  • Re: recent Dutch Bible translations please?
Hello. Maybe it's an good idea to make the HSV available by hand. If we do this with a lot of dutch people it wouldn't be too much work. We can make it as an docx-file for Logos and also in raw text file so we can use it to compile in Bibleworks. Or am I not aloud to name the product of a competitive program? Ang hello Hans..

  • Re: Missing Text - NINCOT

I do find this a bit disturbing. Electronic texts you pay that much for should be completely reliable. Recently, when doing some textual criticism work, I found a typo in one of the NICNT volumes, in one of the manuscripts it cited. I do love to have a lot of kilos in commentaries with you on just one lightweight iPad. I do trust Logos will put all
I would drop a few hundred for this.
I have bought a Surface RT, and would love to have a Logos app that has the basic features, like setting the font size, showing footnotes at the bottom of the page, and highlighting. I certainly would place a bid if the app came to CP.

  • Re: NA 28 with apparatus

Are the textual references (in the left and right margins in the printed editions) included in the Logos digital edition? My research work would greatly profit by having them available in Logos.

  • Feature to minimize/collapse the Passage and Exegetical Guide

I would suggest a new feature. The minimizing / collapsing of panels. For example: (not minimized / collapsed) (Panel with Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide minimized / collapsed) This would give the possibility to hide/minimize parts of the screen that are not currently in use, so the space of the reading panels becomes larger. When you need the minimized
Simon Did you try to install Office to your SD card and change the Logos to the tablet 32GB drive. I don't know the size of your SD card, for my Reader I use a Galaxy Tab 3 16GB with 64GB SD card but my Logos is on the 16GB and other Apps and files I store on the SD card. This works good for me I have 950 resources download

Sometime ago I build a PC for a friend, with an Intel Celeron G1820, and Logos did run great. I guess an SSD (which that PC had) makes much more difference than the speed of the processor.

  • Re: How many commentaries are enough?

I have a lot of commentaries, but I don't think more is better. Yes, it feels good to see your commentary section of your passage guide crowded with a lot of commentaries. But in the end, most of the time you have limited time to study a passage, so you only use a limited number of commentaries. If you're working or studying in a academic setting, having

  • Re: Recommended Commentaries for my Library would you all for me?

I would recommend NICOT/NICNT first, and Baker Exegetical next. For me, the Baker Exegetical Commentary is my preferred series. The only downside is, that the series isn't complete at the moment. BTW: Baker Exegetical Commentary is on sale this month.

  • Re: My Dream Windows 8.x Tablet that runs Logos

I have the Asus T100, and its a nice tablet. Works great, no problems with it. I'm also very happy with the long battery life of over 10 hours with the screen on. However: the basic model has only 32GB as harddisk. With Windows and Office installed, there's no space left for Logos. It is possible to install a micro-SD card and install Logos on the SD
The long delay in this resource's release has baffled me because it is relatively simple to produce. But there is a problem. My guess is that it is not a technical matter, but a legal problem. I expect that this project was completed some time ago, but a licensing issue is delaying the release. Other products have been
Simon, before you reinvent the wheel, such a thing exists already in several possible outlets, and is coming soon in another: 1) Have you checked out Thomas Black's site, stilltruth.com? There's a whole section on it for Logos PB's. I know Thomas had some system failure a while back and was working on rebuilding the site
