Had a bit of an issue with my Windows 10 and had to re-install Windows. I was able to save all my personal data, just lost the programs. I re-installed Logos 7 successfully, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing my 3000+ book library. My documents are available though. Any suggestions to "re-connect" my library with this new installation of Logos 7

Oh, I now understand more clearly. I've always considered highlights and notes as two separate items - one for quick reference and the other if I had something to say about the highlight. I now understand how to "link" my highlights. Thanks you both for the help. Vic

I can do this in Notes, but I am looking for a simple/quick way to link highlights. I have been highlighting my Bible with reference ideas (money, marriage, healing, YHWH, sin, discipleship, etc) and want to be able to search them at a later time. Sometimes, a concept spans multiple verses, but not all verses pertain to that subject. I am trying to

I'd prefer not to use notes. I want to be able to highlight one portion, then another and link them together so that I can see my train of thought in a certain area.

Is there a way to link highlights? If I'm working on a project and want to highlight verses 14 and 19, but not verses 15-18, is there a way to make them ONE highlight rather than two? I want to be able to lookup my highlights at a later date and know that I highlighted them as one passage. Thanks for your help. Vic

I'm working with the new Sermon maker and I'd like to import some of my own media into my media library to make slides. Anybody know how to do this?

The sermon prep layout I have is one designed for a three part exegetical sermon, it just doesn't seem to lend itself well to the ME WE GOD YOU WE format. Could you share your steps from prep to written sermon with me?
-
I am a new pastor and just getting started with sermon prep. I like Andy Stanley's ME WE GOD YOU WE type of sermon and was wondering if anyone has a sermon prep layout for preparing this type of sermon. I am not an ancient language scholar, but do enjoy delving into some word study. I own Logos 5 Gold with the Logos 6 tools upgrade. Send me your screen

I absolutely love my Sony Vaio Duo 11 - it's a tablet/laptop hybrid with an Intel core i7-3537u 2.5GHz, 8g ram and 256gb SSD. It comes with a digitizer pen. I chose the Duo 11 over other flip style hybrids due to it's stability in an upright position. Sony now has a Vaio 13 out that uses an Intel 4th gen chip. Logos 5 works like a dream on this machine

Any resources from Lodahl or Pinnock would be appreciated.

Does it not make sense to have the manuals as a Logos book that can be updated as changes are made to the program. Isn't that what they do with all the other books we own through Logos?
-
It's not on the shelves yet, but it can be Pre-ordered for $1495. It seems a bit pricey, but if it does what it states in the reviews, it will be worth every penny. The Asus Transformer Tablet does not come with a pen. The best I can find is that it does not have active pen support. I don't know how much that will effect it's use. I use a stylus on

I'm looking at a Asus Transformer Book. It has an Intel i7 processor with 4G ram, 128G solid state drive in the tablet and a 500G hard drive in the keyboard dock. http://transformerbook.asus.com/#home I am a pastoral student focusing on missions and think this will be a great option for both the ease of use of the tablet plus the full functionality

Excellent. This is very helpful. Thank you very much. Is there a way to do the same thing using a visual filter? Is Logos smart enough to be able to identify who the 'he' is referring to and mark it accordingly. Vic

Steve - I am very interested in how you tagged "Father" and "Christ" in your History screen. Please walk me through the steps.

Is there a way to highlight all the names of God throughout the Bible. I know we can do specific verb searches and such. How about I AM. Not just the typical I AM statements, but when God states things about himself (I AM the God of the Isrealites.)

Issue fixed after reset. Thanks for your help.

As you can see, there are other notes, but the button is not highlighted so I can create a new note.

Yes, the notes I've created on my computer show up in all my iPad Bibles. I am using the Logos Bible app. I hope I do not have to reinstall my app. Since I have a 64gb iPad, I downloaded all the books to my iPad for offline use. I don't want to have to start all over.
