• Right clicking on Icons and scrolling

I don't remember if this happened in Logos 4 and I can't really check. Maybe it did. But in Logos 5, if I right click on a book icon I've placed in the space to the right of the Command Box, and then press down key on my keyboard, it scrolls the active window. I would expect that it would let me move between options for opening the book in question

  • Re: New laptop and Logos 5
That is light weight for Logos, so let us know how it goes.
For reference, I use a HP netbook with an AMD E-350 with 6GB of RAM and its surprisingly snappy--much better than L4 was.But AMD's netbook processors are better than Intel's (for the time being, that'll change in the next 6 months). The little guy also has an
With all the confusion caused by this upgrade I found it interesting that you chose to uses as your example one of the most difficult class of nouns in Greek--Contract Nouns of the 2nd Declension! ὁ νόο + ς = νοῦς. The root really is νοο the

  • Re: Add the 1984 NIV
This is a common way of stating the issue, and it's correct that this decision is out of the hands of Logos. However, there's a third player here: the Committee on Bible Translation . These are the actual owners of the NIV (not Zondervan), they contract with Zondervan as their exclusive publisher in the U.S. and Logos
That shocks me, since i know the macintosh is very popular in Israel, in the past i remember back in 90 reading it was the only computer that handled Hebrew well. I do not know the language but when I have had to type it in a bible program for a search i have never had troubles, although that is normally in accordance.[/quote

  • Re: Princeton Theological Review (443 issues) - initial price too high
Well, I am convinced but the finances aren't there so I am going to have to bow out for the time being from this offering. Bummer though.
Kenneth, even at $100 its still going to take a massive amount of time to even get to development. Put a couple bucks in a jar for the next year and you'll have the $100 if
Contrary to my own comment this morning, I have raised my bid to $100. Maybe by the time this is rolled out, I'll have $100 left in my book budget and opt to purchase this set. (Fingers crossed...) Discovering Biblical Equality is truly unmatched as an egalitarian handbook: http://www.logos.com/product/2960/discovering-biblical-equality I buy copies for friends regularly.

  • Re: not THAT valuable
actually, if before posting, you would have done due diligence and researched the subject, you would have found out that Zondervan has all 3 titles as eBooks on their website and they are identical for Amazon, Barnes&Noble, Kobo, CBD, Sony. So it seems that your argument is wrong, without merit, accusatory, too general, like
So, is the majority of Logos' users content with 50%-100% markup? Really? What do you consider a fair markup (compared with Kindle) for the added value of Logos Searching and Indexing? I personally think 10-20%
You do realize that Amazon often sells stuff at a loss simply to drive competitors out of business, right?
