Finding 'books' to read

Hi all,Paralysis by analysis, I suffer.

I have several books in my library - obviously. They're of varying types (commentary, etc) just like you I know this is nothing unique so far.

However, I'm wanting to know how do you keep up with:

a) what's in your library

b) what's new in my library (sort by date)

c) what's a book I'd like to read (novel style) like Bonhoeffer etc.

d) how to mark what page I'm on, to come back to it over time, etc.

And any other tips/hints you may have for library organization, management, and book reading.

I have Logos 5 and I am looking for a way to get a printout of the titles or titles and authors of all the books in my library. Is there a way to do that?

Convert Windows content to Mac?

I received a DVD of The John Piper Sermon Manuscript Library a couple years ago, but it's a Windows-based DVD. Since I use a Mac, I set it aside and forgot about it. I'm now trying to access the content and would like to export the data into Logos 4 for Mac. Can the current Logos software (Logos 4.6b Beta 3 (4.62.0.0288)) read PC-formatted data?

If it can't be done, does anyone know if I can just exchange this for the Mac version through Logos?

I appreciate any advice you can offer.

Exegetical guide - limiting what is displayed

I was wondering if I can personalize my exegetical guide to not show any of the reference sources.

I would like to only see:

the greek word: word by word

definition

part of speech - particular form (ie. verb, Pres. Act Ind 3 sing.)

I would like to eliminate all the sources (like BAGD, BDAG) from being listed.

This is in preparation for exporting to Word (see previous post)

Library view

I would love to see a tiled view in the library. The present tiled view is really just a list view with slightly larger covers and you cannot, in fact read the writing on most of them. I am thinking of something like the view in the Kindle desktop app as this is a more visual experience and is more the way one browses a real bookshelf.

PDF into Logos resource

I want to add a custom bible reading plan to my faith life account. I am told that the way to do this is to add the plan into my Logos software as a personal resource and then it will be available to be added to my faithlife account. Has anyone done this or attempted to do this?

PDF into Logos resource

I have a PDF file that I'd like to add to my library as a Logos resource. Its just a Bible reading plan that I'd like to ultimately add to my faithlife.com account and I was advised that the only way to do that is to add it to my Logos resources. Has anyone done this successfully?

Revert to a previous resource version.

I love that Logos continues to innovate However, sometimes Hardware can't keep up. I'm currently running version 1.1.13 (build 43) on Android 2.1. I made the mistake of updating my ESV and now can't access it. Now I get a "Unknown error opening resource" message.

On a different device I could update Logos Bible! to the latest version (See Thread Here) However that isn't an option for my hardware.

Does anyone know how I can get a previous version of a resource so that I can continue to use my Nook for Bible Reading?

I would also be interested in accessing previous versions of the Bible! software itself.

VYRSO and LOGOS books.

I know that from the beginning I loved the ability to read my Vyrso books in the Logos app - but there are many books anymore that I wished that I didn't have to sift through while I'm doing biblical studies.

Is there a way to "silence" or "hide" books (like Vyrso books) in the Logos library?
