Bug - Highlights not syncing at all, and Notes sometimes not syncing

Hello,

Please help. The yellow triangle has been showing up for some time now.

I use logos on a Mac and an iPhone 4S. Notes made on Mac sync fine with iPhone; but Notes made on iPhone do not sync with Mac. Highlights do not sync at all, irrespective of where they are created.

I have attached the relevant log.

"Unable to connect to Logos.com" message on Logos 4

Suddenly, it's impossible to sign in or connect my Logos 4.

There is no problem with my Internet connection, and I can connect with my PC and iPhone 4, but not on my MacBook Pro, as I am used to.

I even tried to reset my password, but that did not make any difference.

What shall I do?

I have run the Diagnostic Logging for MAC, and I have attached the archive rapport to this message.

BUG REPORT: Crash in Personal Book Builder

While trying to add a personal book I just built from a Kindle file (Logos doesn't have the title available), Logos is consistently crashing partway through the build process. I've attached the log, and I can provide the .docx file to a Logos developer upon request. I don't want to put it on the public forum, since it's under copyright.

No automatic update Logos 4.6a SR-4 (4.61.0.3380)

Hi,

I've tried to find a similar issue, but couldn't. My Logos 4 on OS X 10.8.2 does see there are updates, but Logos isn't updating them. In System settings the update is selected from Midnight to Midnight, so it should be able to download content.

Is there a way to force the download (Update Now) doesn't help, I only get the small window with the message that an update is available. Any topics on this on the forum?

Mac Logos 4 Crashes on Attempt to Create Custom Reading Plan

Mac version of Logos 4 crashes on attempt to create a custom reading plan with Bible books in this order "Romans-Jude, Genesis-Deuteronomy, Psalms, Joshua-Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes-Malachi, Revelation, Mathew-Acts". When I attempt to save the custom book order with the save name "Legacy" (or congregation is reading the Bible in this order in 2013), Logos replaces "all passages" with "Legacy". When I attempt to generate the plan, Logos crashes. Logos doesn't seem to want to save the custom book order in a "New reference range" Titled "Legacy" (but it does replace the "all passages" with "Legacy").

I also attempted the following custom book orders that also resulted in Logos crashing.

Differing L4 and L5 Bible Reading Plan Settings

I have L5 installed on my Win 7 SP1 X84 laptop, but still have L4 installed on my Win XP SP3 X86 desktop (because L5 cannot be used with Win XP).

I currently have a Bible Reading Plan configured, and it consistently shows the correct date and reading on both machines. (Good so far...)

However, when I load the Reading Plan in L4, the Bible Reading comes up correctly, and also has "Passage Guide" to the left and "Explorer" to the right (which is a very helpful arrangement), but when I load the Plan in L5, what comes up is the Bible Reading to the left and the Bible Reading Plan Settings page to the right (and I certainly don't need to see the Settings page 365 days of the year).

Is there any way to control the L5 Bible Reading Plan display so that it shows the helpful Passage Guide and Explorer tabs (as in L4), instead of the annoying Bible Reading Plan Settings tab every day instead?

As usual, I am left feeling that Logos 5 provides a frustrating lack of control over how it behaves. (L4 leaves me feeling that way, too, but at least what seems to be the default Reading Plan display in L4 is more useful than the display in L5.) I am hoping that there is a way to simply and automatically do this that someone will point out to me - {grin}.

Logos 5 and Logos 4 Home Page Interaction

I have Logos 5 installed on my Win 7 SP1 X64 laptop and Logos 4 on my Win XP Pro SP3 X86 desktop.

On my home page I prefer not to see any "ads", so I prefer to have the home page show me only a Bible reading plan, library preview, and updated resources. However, if I set the home page this way on the Logos 5 Win 7 laptop, and then. later on, open up Logos 4 on the Win XP desktop, the "ads" will come back (Faithlife blog, My Logos messages, etc.). I cannot get my preferred settings to "stick" when I go back and forth between Logos 5 and 4. (As far as I can tell, all of my other "custom" L5-L4 settings seem to be respected.) Has anyone else noticed this sort of thing? Does anyone have any suggestion (besides "put up with it" - {g}) to offer? Thanks.

Old Logos Upgrade

I have been using Logos 4 for a while and will upgrade to 5 in the near future. Recently, I was offered an old no longer used version of the Scholar's LIbrary Series X (QB) for a couple of bucks (still in original box and wrapping). I'm not even sure what that all means but apparently it is an older version of Logos. My question is if I load it to my computer, will the resources then become compatible with Logos 4/5? There is no point going through the hassle of an upload unless I can get the resources to be available under the current engine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
