Logos for Ubuntu and other Linux based OS

Trying to gather some steam for getting Logos to bring their software to Ubuntu and other Linux based OS such as Linux Mint, Kubuntu etc.... I used to use Logos on my Windows PC that is until I found Ubuntu dropped Windows like it was a hot potato. Only real draw back was losing my Logos 4 bible study software I have to access it on my tablet, but it does not function the same. There are some really nice free bible study programs on Ubuntu but none nearly as good as Logos. If you want to see Logos make it to Ubuntu then let's work together and let them know that we want it!!!

Logos vs Verbum iPhone and iPad

I am new to Logos and was wondering if anyone could please explain the difference is between the Logos and Verbum iOS apps? I am Catholic and realize that Verbum is supposed to be centered towards Catholics, but these two apps seem to offer very similar functionality. I truly appreciate your time and assistance.

Books & Collections We'd Like To See In Logos In 2013

The New Year fast approaches and I thought it would be interesting to learn what books and collections that other Logos users would like to see available in Logos. I'll get the ball rolling with a few:

Six months on from the IVP statement, does anyone know if the last two dictionaries are any closer to being published in Logos format?

Cross-References in Lake's Apostolic Fathers

I was looking at a scanned copy of Lake's Apostolic Fathers and saw the cross-references in the outer margin of the Greek. When I looked at my edition in Logos, I noticed that these cross-references are noted in the Greek edition with an asterisk but they are not noted in the English edition, even though there are quotation marks indicating quotes from these passages. For normal study I simply use the English (saving the Greek for when I'm studying Greek or to understand the reason behind varying English translations) and it would be nice to also include these cross-references in the English, maybe even in connection with quote when there is an exact quote that appears in quotation marks. I'm not sure who to talk to about suggesting this feature, though I know that Rick Brannan was somehow involved with the Greek edition of Lake (interlinear perhaps?). Thanks!

Reading Plan Notifications for Android/Iphone type devices...

I think it could benefit users to be able to set phone notifications with Logos to remind them to stick with their reading plan, and letting them know what their reading is for that current day maybe even a button that says 'Read Now' and 'Ignore'. One step further would be to allow the user to set what time of day the notification happened.

I know that I could benefit from this greatly, and I'm sure it could help many others to stick with the plans that they set for themselves. Just a thought.

Passage Guide and Comparison don't work

Description – When trying to use the Passage Guide and Comparison features but I get an error telling me I don't have internet connection. It says my internet connection is timing out. I can access the internet on both devices just not through the Bible App.
  App-- Logos Bible
  Device Info – Kindle Fire and HTC Sensation 4G
  Android Version – 2.1.2 (build 57)

Air Display on iPad, Win7 & Logos...

Hello all...

I have tried to use the air display app on my ipad and win7 laptop and it works very well, except for when I am using Logos. Logos starts up, the program says that it is loaded, but it cannot be seen on the laptop screen or on the air display iPad screen. Anyone else have this problem? Logos is the only program that is acting up this way...

The thing that got me and many other people using facebook was a friend invited me and I was then able to invite other friends. Is that feature already available? If not will it be available?

German Bibles

I bought Logos for my College (because it is mandatory).
Since my native language is German I know realized that there are no german bibles.

I coudln't believe it. I just paid several hundred dollars and then there isn't even the option of purchasing a German Bible. I actually expected the most common German Bibles to be in the package.But no...

Wow... I still can't believe it. That's more than disappointing.
Does anybody know whether Logos is gonna change that? Add more bibles?
