I have been using Logos 5 without any problems (Dell Studio XPS, Win 7, i7, 8gig RAM). In the last week the NIV84 exclusively crashes the application. "Logos Bible Software 5 has stopped working." Is there a way I can reinstall NIV84 or is there a better suggestion? Many thanks.

Logos 4 (crashed)

i downloaded logos 4 from logos.com/downloads and when it downloaded, i installed & moved it to applications. then when i opened it, it quit unexpectedly (crashed), so i opened it over and over and it still quits. file://localhost/Users/DJ/Library/Application%20Support/Logos4/Logging/Archive%202.zip

I got smart (please do not let this get out to the general public) this morning. Instead of reproducing this bug while importing all of my notes. I moved the note files that did not have any problems to a temp spot so that I could just import the file that is causing the crash. Here are the log files from this import:

I was importing my notes from L3, and L4 crashed. Here is the crash report. I turned logging off when I import notes to speed up the process. Therefore, I do not have the log file.

Mac Logos 4 Crashes on Attempt to Create Custom Reading Plan

Mac version of Logos 4 crashes on attempt to create a custom reading plan with Bible books in this order "Romans-Jude, Genesis-Deuteronomy, Psalms, Joshua-Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes-Malachi, Revelation, Mathew-Acts". When I attempt to save the custom book order with the save name "Legacy" (or congregation is reading the Bible in this order in 2013), Logos replaces "all passages" with "Legacy". When I attempt to generate the plan, Logos crashes. Logos doesn't seem to want to save the custom book order in a "New reference range" Titled "Legacy" (but it does replace the "all passages" with "Legacy").

I also attempted the following custom book orders that also resulted in Logos crashing.

Unable to log in Sunday morning

Last Sunday (11/18) we were unable to log-in to proclaim, kept getting a message asking us to buy it or telling us to try again later. 1 hour before presentation, with a sermon particularly reliant on graphics and media, this was a problem. Tried multiple log-ins, multiple computers, multiple internet connections. Same problem.

Fortunately, the sermon subject was worry - great illustration of tech/worship/pastor fear coming true and nothing we could do about it... and service was a blessing.

Two hours later, hey presto! No problems.

Logos4 crashes Lion during sleep

It doesn't matter if my new MacBook Pro running 10.7.5 (Lion) goes to sleep because:

I had to walk away for too long,
or if I close the lid,
or if it was set to sleep by choosing it from the menu list,

if Logos4 is running the computer crashes as it tries to waken from sleep mode. None of my other apps are causing this problem: checked by running other apps with and without Logos4. The only commonality is Logos4.

Please help. Need suggestions. I'm getting tired of my mac needing to restart multiple times a day as I am a full-time student who is also home educating four students while also preparing lessons for our youth ministry. My mac is working all day, every day and so is Logos4. Thanks for the help and prayers.

[I do shut down the whole system each night.]
