Alabama - don't worry on my account - I am OK as the iPad is my primary reading device: I was simply posting it in case anyone from the Dev team is looking at the thread.

How to change note's entries from one file to another?

Note file / community notes in Logos 5

I am still on Logos 4 mac---still considering the Logos 5 upgrade---but I am curious if, in Logos 5, one is able to "convert" an existing notes file to a "community notes file"---or even better, to sync a personal note file with a community note file.

I have a set of notes relative to a particular bible translation commonly used by other pastors in my denomination. I'd like to be able to share the file with them for use in their preaching/teaching preparation, and perhaps to allow them to make additions as well.

Is this something supported in Logos 5, or is that expecting too much of the brand-new "community notes" feature?

Crash in L5 Mac caused by Editing Notes...Still

Editing notes in L5 for Mac still causes the application to crash. Specifically, deleting text in a numbered or outlined list is the culprit.

I find myself in a cold sweat every time I am working in the notes of L5, fearful that a simple task like taking and editing notes could actually bring my work to a halt for a few minutes, and even lose some unsaved changes.

I was really hoping this banal item would be fixed long ago in one of the various bug fixes released. Any news on an ETA for the new text engine release or a fix for this at least in the meantime? To me, notes are an essential part of using Logos and should be high in the priority list.

Notes in faithlife study bible and finding the features

I have been trying to find out how to post notes to FSB. I thought I had posted a note, but later when I went back to find it, it was gone. I see no help button online, or directions as to how to get to features on the study bible. I was excited to see that we could post information online and access it anywhere, but I can't seem to get this working.

I saw a demo clip of how highlighting feature will work on FSB, but I don't see this feature when I go online.

Highlighting /making notes in all Bible versions

Is there a setting that will allow me to highlight a passage in all Bible versions at once? ie- I highlight a passage in the NIV, and then when I open my ESV to the same passage it is highlighted and points to the note that I made in the NIV

Logos vs Verbum iPhone and iPad

I am new to Logos and was wondering if anyone could please explain the difference is between the Logos and Verbum iOS apps? I am Catholic and realize that Verbum is supposed to be centered towards Catholics, but these two apps seem to offer very similar functionality. I truly appreciate your time and assistance.

Turn of text highlight when adding note to resource

I want to add a Note to a passage covering multiple verses but I don't want that entire passage to be highlighted in the resource. Is there a way to turn off the highlight or just have the verse numbers (or just the first verse in the passage) highlighted while leaving the rest of the text clean and readable?

Reading plan non-sync déjà vu

Many of us have experienced frustration in the past over our reading plans not syncing across devices. Thankfully, syncing has worked great for me for the past few months, but the last couple of days I'm out of sync again. The odd thing this time is that my iOS devices aren't even in sync with each other. Here's what I'm seeing today:

L5 Mac: Caught up. Ready for tomorrow's Romans 4-7 Reading
biblia.com: Caught up. Ready for tomorrow's Romans 4-7 Reading
bible.faithlife.com: Caught up. Ready for tomorrow's Romans 4-7 Reading
iPhone: Behind: Need to read Acts 27-28
iPad: Behind: Need to read Acts 24-26

It's déjà vu on the reading plan problems of the past, except this time I have 3 different status reports. In the past the iPhone and iPad always showed the same progress status.

Anybody else experiencing this bug?

Logos 5 Crashing when editing note

Logos 5 is crashing when editing a note. Specifically when deleting content that is there. For some reason the default font is not my selection either. I don't know if that has anything to do with it? My settings are correct.
