Unable to access Passage Guide when offline.

I have a really nice little Wi-Fi network here at home where I use my tablet and Logos the most. That part is great, but I often want to use Logos when I am someplace that doesn't have Wi-Fi access. When I try to access the Passage Guide in that situation, the menu is grey except for the "Add To Favorites" button. Doesn't really make sense to me. Why would it need to access the internet when most of my library has been downloaded to my pad? Am I doing something wrong? (My method is to up-swipe on the passage I'm reading and then press the Passage Guide button.)

Passage Guide Default Bible?

I have Logos 5 on my Mac (OS X Mountain Lion) and also the iOS app (3.1.4(3.1.4.1890)) on my iPhone 5. My preferred Bible on Logos 5 for Mac is KJV, and this setting is also reflected in the Settings section of the iOS app. When I enter a passage into the Passage Guide on the iOS app, the verses contained in the content returned are in KJV (for example, under Cross References) . However, if I click any verse, I am taken to the ESV.

I have tried every setting I can think of in an attempt to troubleshoot this issue. Nothing I do seems to have any effect and Logos always goes to ESV.

So my question: how do I get Logos on iOS to use my preferred Bible in the Passage Guide?

Please could this be worked on to make the passage guide available offline. It significantly reduces the usefulness of the application when you haven't got an Internet connection. Thanks

How to Get Personal Book Commentary Collection to Appear in Passage Guide

I have created a set of personal books using public domain content and they are commentaries. I have given them a series name and Logos recognizes them in the Library as a series! :-) YAY! I have also prioritized the collection so that it appears at the top of list of commentaries. I gave the commentaries a subject type that identified them as commentaries.

When I do a Passage Guide, I do not see the commentaries in the results, even after doing a view all.

How can I get personal books which are commentaries to appear in Passage Guide results?

Stringing together Bible versions

My LDLS allows me to switch Bible versions (using the left or right arrow keys), but only a few. It includes KJV, NKJV, NASB, NIV, NA27, ESV, ESV Eng.-Grk. Reverse Interlinear. Yet, with Logos's Platinum package, I have a lot more versions to choose from. If I open one of these other versions (say, the NET Bible or Holman's), that's fine until I try Left- or Right-Arrow keying over to another version. It's back on track with the same basic versions mentioned above. The other version I just opened is no longer viewable. I have to open it again.

How do I incorporate these other Bible versions into my basic string of Bible versions and make it remain as part of the string?

Passage Guide "more" link

I'm finding that I really like using Logos on my Android tablet. I use it most during my morning study time, before I fire up my desktop. Very handy. Often, when reading through a passage I will use the Passage Guide to see what some of the commentaries say about it. Generally it comes up with about 6 choices that I can go through. However, sometimes I want more than that so I try pressing the "more" link that appears below the commentary list -- with zero results. No expanded list, no indicator that it is working -- just nothing. No matter how long I wait.

I'm thinking this is just a bug that will likely be addressed in the next update, but I may be doing something wrong, too. Anyone know more about this? Thanks!

Passage guide offline

I took my newly purchased iPad with all my downloaded resources to the park hoping to get away from a hectic house full of kids and enjoy some quiet study in the peaceful atmosphere of God's creation. Much to my surprise, when I tried to run the passage guide I was promptly informed by the App that I could not run the passage guide offline.

I thought (mistakenly it appears) that purchasing a bigger HD of 64GB to accommodate downloading resources in order to access my library offline was the best option for me. That equation figured in the passage guide to manage a very large library in my study.

Can anyone tell me why the passage guide is not configured to work with downloaded books as opposed to online? Is this something planned for the future? Am I tied to the cloud in other areas I am not aware of.

I am not issuing a complaint. Guess I am seeking information and hoping for a solution on the back end of a purchase I should have researched more thoroughly in the first place. I am hoping that I am not tied to a noisy coffee shop or hectic home to use the passage guide and other features. I guess there is always the library.

Any insight, help, or understanding would be appreciated.

how do i quickly change the passage I am working on in the passage guide

As I am reading through my printed Bible I like to have the passage guide up so I can quickly check a commentary or dictionary; the problem is I may check something in Deuteronomy 24 then not look back up until Deuteronomy 34. So I have ten chapters to scroll through or I have to type the reference in each individual window or I have to click home and wait for the guide to load again minus any additional commentaries I have opened. Is there a way to quickly go from one passage guide to another without having to go back to the home screen?

Passage guide, collection drop down menu

After playing around with the collections tool I find myself with a long list of bad choices in my drop down list for collections when I am in the Passage guide.

I am looking for a way to clear the memory and clean up the list now that I have a clear understanding on how to use the collections tools.

Is there a means to do this?
