I am currently exploring the new Faithlife app. The least intrusive evernote integration would be the ability to Share to Evernote (like you can to Facebook and Twitter).

It would, as mentioned in a previous post, be excellent if the complete biographical reference information was noted along with the selected text.

The best option would be to be able to sync notes with Evernote. OliveTree has this option.

Hiding Multiple Resources

Though I'm very grateful for the vast number of resources made available freely in the Perseus Collections, they are not the main-stay of my Bible study library. I will enjoy reading some selections from the collection at my liesure, or using some of them for specialized research tasks. In any case, I want most of them hidden most of the time. On the other hand, I'd like to access and retrieve them easily when I choose.

I was very disappointed to find it isn't possible to hide a batch of resources in Logos 4 Bible Software, but that I have to hide resources one at a time. It is not an exaggeration to say, hiding resources one at a time is a TORTUROUS task you shouldn't wish on anyone, not even your competitors in the Bible software market, but especially your faithful user base. This is a serious drawback of the Logos 4 Bible Software.

It takes longer and longer to complete each addition to the hidden resources box . Hiding a score of resources now takes half and hour. I've literally worked for days hiding the resources in the Perseus Collections one-by-one. I still have to hide 599 remaining resources. Now I just won't do it, it is too time intensive and very frustrating.

I challenge the Logos software engineers and developers to try hiding each resource in the Perseus Collection one-by-one. You would re-write the software in a heartbeat if you were real-world users.

I suggest you incorporate hidden resources into the library feature. For example, make it possible to hide and reveal batch (multiple) resources with one click. As with other collections, make possible the sorting and filtering of hidden resources making it possible to reveal or conceal them individually or in a batch.

Since it is already possible to sort and filter the Perseus Collections make it possible to conceal or reveal them in the Library window.

Thank you for your serious attention to this matter.

Re: Does your WIFE read AMISH Fiction (Anabaptist Fiction.

Fred J. A LARGE part of Christian Faiths and History! I have tried throught the years to post bot individual books and groups of books.... NEVER SEEING ONE MOVE FROM LOGOS. I have spoken directly with the owners on one occasion or another... Usually with I'll look into this, or at least the ones form this company or another which we have aggrements with, or I think thats a good idea... I have spoken to the sales reps, and anyone else who will listen. I have e-mail directly to them and suggestions for years.... again no ACTION.... It is beyond belief to me that something which was intentionally played down in history as being "A Truely Radical and Violent Reform Movement (Catholic Encyclopedia - AMISH MENNONITE VIOLENT???) or played as very insugnefficant by the Protestant Movement.... Both of which Martyred Hundreds of thousands simply because they would not recant that the Bible took presidense over a Pope or not vowing to the Lutherian Church State on condions like Works or infant Baptism. Granted their was one violent group who were called by BOTH denomination Anabaptist - they were not. How long before the Histories are truely available. How long does it take for a Worldwide Christian faith to be represented, one which is Biblical, Apostolic Modeled, has offshots like the Mennonites, Amish, Hutterites, Breatherian, Baptists, Home Church Movement and variaous other off center consrevative Christian groups around the world????

It is not my point to make anyone think I am challengeing them about their quilafications or knowledge... But if the material is not there, how much do you really know? Isn't this what a Good Bible library suppose to be about. Truith? Diversity? Knowledge? Without Resoures is this possible?

Thanks Again for all who have read these and thank again for you patience for my rants...

*Note - I use the ANABAPTIST name in the Modern Since applying to Amish, Mennonite, Brethern, Charity and other who believe in the Word of God and Christ written words as the way to live. Those who believe that the world is a world of sin which we must live in but must strive not to surcome to. Anabaptist believe in Non-Resistance to the point of death, even a torturous death even that of the cross instead of breaking the life set forth by our Lord Jesus and the command of Loving God and our neighbors.

Their are many Groups in history which are Called Ana-baptist because they did not believe in infant baptism but did not always partake in the edics of Christ. For example: One of these groups held out in a town and protected it through force of arms so they could contine to worship outside of the confines of both the Pope and the Church State. Though they are called ANABAPTIST this comparison would be like calling the Eastern Orthodox Church a Roman Catholic belief. (Note: the Catholic Encyclopedia uses this incident to call all ANABAPTIST ((Amish, Mennonite, Brethern, and Hutterites and otheres)) A VIOLENT SECT.)

                      BOOK LIST

I will start reading one thing, get distracted and veer off in some other direction on some other topic in some other book, before I know it, I'll be sitting there a few days later back at the book I started with days beforehand thinking "this is that book I started reading days ago and until just now had forgotten all about...". This might sound like I have a problem with maintaining a focused approach to my studies but it can be difficult when you have over 1000 books and an amazing program that can search the whole lot of them for a topic or passage within seconds. I feel that having a solid, systematic grasp on various topics is necessary and useful for many reasons, but I also want to set and track reading goals for myself as well so I don't get totally lost in the sea of sundry selections. It would also be really great just to be able to track my thoughts and experiences by date and have it all backed up on a Logos server. This is a feature I for one would be willing to pay extra for if it was done well.

Re: Another Anabaptist Suggestion

We are Anababaptist NOT PUTITANS....Anabaptist or Re-Baptisers - The primary aim of the Anabaptist Radicals was not (as is usually stated) the opposition to infant baptism, still less to some theological convictions surrounding sprinkling or pouring, but the establishment of a pure church of converts in opposition to the mixed church of the world. Medieval antecedents of Anabaptist may include the Brethren Brethren of the Common Life; The Brethren and the Devotio Moderna:The the Hussite (Jan Huss , who became one of the forerunners of the Protestant Reformation...); Dutch Sacramentists and some forms of Monasticism; Waldensians also represent a faith similar to the Anabaptists. During the reformation the Anabaptist as they were LATER refered to did not perticapate in Luther Reform movement, Luther still had a church state which required alligence, which the anaqbaptis would not performed. It is often debated to wheither The Catholics or the Protestant Burned more anabaptist.. Most (what we refer to the real ) Anaqbaptist simply moved to other countries like Switzerland netherlands and Moravia a few stayed behind worshiping in the woods houses and caves ... the ones which moved to Munster barracaded themself up and fought from being tortured and killed. This is against true Anabaptist beliefs (non-resistance is An Anabaptist Creed).. However the Catholic church Decided to call the Munster Group Anabaptist and thus to this day Catholics defins Anabaptist as militant (New Catholic Encyclodedia).
PURITANS - were the result of the English reformation. They did not believe the english church had gone far enough. They also rejected the Authorizewd KJV of the Bible. The Anabaptist were also in England at this time and were killed by the hundreds. Some Baptist and Puritans were also killed but this was the refusial the Authorized KJV of the Bible.

Baptist are more than likly an offshoot of the Anabaptist according to the ETS group which held it's 2010 meeting at the New Orleans birthblace of the Conservative Resurggence of the Souther Baptist Convention. After a long discussion the various theories of Baptist Origins, The "Anabaptist Kinship" theory won out over the "English Seperatist" theory (One of both Calvanist and Puritan Origin) as being the most plausable.

Baptist probably came from the Anabaptist...... We are NOT PURITANS.... Anabaptist no exist as AMISH, MENNONITE, HUTTERITE, groups like CHARITY GOSPEL, many home churchs and many Bretherian denomination.

BEING SUCH = Anabaptist writting are not represented by LOGOS..Read my list of BOOKS - Dirk Phillips and Mino Simmons are equivelant to Calvan to a Calanist. These are but two of the many examples.

A Group which is referred too again and again in Christian History has VERY LITTLE in the LOGOS Library.

Thank you an God Bless
