[quote user="Michael Childs"] However, not all have the opportunity, and God has called and used some ministers powerfully who did not know Greek or Hebrew. So I would really not question God's choice in the matter. But if you have the opportunity, TAKE IT! And these Logos language tools are great as...

Although the articles in the Theological Lexicon are small, they pack a great punch when paired with BDAG, TDNT, and others. Spicq's work is very useful, and if I am not mistaken he includes some entries which are not to be found found in the TDNT. I have and use Spicq often. I often find his entries...

Is there a way to set it so that I can click on a word in the NA27, click lemma, and get it to search the word in the NA27 and in the Septuagint? Right now, in order to do that, I have to either: 1. Have both the NA27 and the Septuagint open, and then do a lemma search for all open resources. (I don...

Even though I have both Zerwick's Grammatical Analysis and his Biblical Greek, Illustrated By Examples in print form, I bought Grammatical Analysis at the Christmas 50% price. Sadly, though, I can't buy Biblical Greek, Illustrated By Examples separately, This is too bad, especially since Grammatical...

I found the post below a couple weeks ago and decided to change my default Greek font to a BibleWorks font so that my Professor using BW could read the greek text in papers I submit. http://community.logos.com/forums/p/21633/162241.aspx#162241 It came as something of a surprise to me this morning while...

Hello, Is it possible to see the textual apparatus for the Greek New Testament in L4 for Mac? I did some searching around in the forums and the only posts I came across were in regard to L3. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!

Does anyone know how to view the apparatus in Logos 4 as I would in my hard copy of the UBS4? I can read the text and do word searches, but haven't figured out how to access the variant readings.

It's Thanksgiving, so I'm taking the Thankful tack. The files are enormous and are highly dependent on a clean signal for the duration of your download. Hiccups in transmission might require another load. I've got a very high speed cable connection, and they took 30-60 minutes each...that's a huge opportunity...

Does anyone know a query method that will give a report of how various English Bible translations translate a particular Greek or Hebrew word? I do this all the time and I currently do it semimanualiy by looking in the Text Comparison. Then I manually (pen and paper--imaging that!) build my report. I...

I am running Logos 3.0g on Windows XP with SP3, and I have Theological Journals installed on my hard drive. I am setting up the "define collections" feature on Logos 3 for the first time, and am not sure what resources I should add to the collection for academic textual work in the OT. In particular...

Hi Forum Gang, My wife is trying to find all of the places God asks us to "come" in the Bible. This seems like a good opportunity for Logos to flex it's muscles, but I am having trouble figuring out the search terms for this one - any help is appreciated! So far the best results I have are from a morphological...

Greetings. My Logos 4.0b program crashes whenever I enter a Greek word in the Bible Word Study. I have traced it to the Septuagint. I have created separate Word Studies with the Septuagint not included and it will do the word study. This crash occurred even before the latest update to 4.0b Attached is...

Hello. I have the Original languages package. I am currently translating from the Greek to my own English translation. As I work on my translation I want to be able to very quickly check some of the Greek words as I go to make sure I've parsed them correctly and got the right meaning of the word. The...
