Clippings can be very useful to students of Bible colleges and seminaries and to writers as a way of collecting and organizing relevant quotations. However, though a link to the location in the resource is provided in the heading as well as bibliographic info on the back, neither indicate the page number (or reference) the way a footnote does when copying text from a resource. It would be useful to be able to see this.
Example of use: 3 clippings, 3 authors, 3 resources
Write-up: As author #1 says blah blah blah (resource # 1, page #). But author # 2 disagrees: blah blah blah. Etc.
As you can imagine, opening and closing resource windows for each and every citation is a bit of a pain and all the more so as the collection of clippings and the corresponding project grow in size.
