Can you make your own group and how? Also how can you leave a group? I would like to start a group with my life group not my whole church and also with my family. There are no options that I see for that.

I don't know how much of the Faithlife functionality has been put into the current versions of the various mobile apps - but at least on the web-page https://faithlife.com you can create your own groups, open and closed, even secret ones (for family), join and leave groups etc. very easily.
