And then in the next picture, I don't get why believe in the first is an experiencer and believed in the second a stimulus:
1. Apparently. I know of no semantic role / thematic role called "Empty".
2. I would have preferred the following tagging: [Jn 1:12] Experiencer = those who believe (Gk. τοῖς πιστεύουσιν) // Stimulus = His name; [Jn 2:11] Experiencer = His disciples (Gk. οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ) // Stimulus = Him. In my limited understanding, the semantic roles typically centre around substantives (cf. Location, etc.). In your example, the tagging may have been shifted slightly.
