I very much like the Mobile Ed concept and the few previews (trailers?
) I've watched so far have confirmed it's a concept that would work well for me. But... at $20 to $40 per hour of video, the pricing is far beyond what I can justify for my use AND seems (to me) much higher than it needs to be. Bottom line--for me it just ain't gonna happen at the current pricing.
If the videos ran more in the $5 to $7 per hour range, my wallet would be out on the table, and even at $10 per hour, it might venture out of hiding a few times a year. But at the current pricing, it just sits quivering in my pocket and will not come out to play. I can't help but wonder how many people can really justify the higher pricing and if dropping the price wouldn't open the door to enough interested people to increase the copies sold by more than enough to offset the lower price.
Am I way out in left field? That's not a rhetorical question... I really am wondering.
