Would someone running the beta take a Note file and set the slider to the largest possible font? I get very funny results in the current legit version. I just want to make sure this isn't in the beta where notes are a more prominent feature.

No, you didn't misunderstand, I just assumed it would be there as it was present in the current version. If it has been removed, someone with visual impairment might want to check the usability. Having the typical age-related bifocals, I'm not in a position to judge.
What you showed seems to have affected only the note panel material itself, not the content of the notes. Perhaps this isn't needed since there is a scalability available in the Program Settings that produces good results not bad ones like you saw.

No, it still gives the same results. To clarify, I ran into this while trying to replicate some problems MarCia was reporting on another thread. As long as the bug does not appear in the beta and MarCia has a reasonable method of enlargement, I'm satisfied.

Since the "panel zoom" slider in Notes did nothing but enlarge the toolbar (incorrectly), it was removed in 4.0b.
I don't see a slider in the note panel, only a font size drop down. I had not used notes in the current L4 version previously, as I was waiting for the importing of notes. So I don't know if this is a change to drop the slider - I assume that it is.
I did set the font size for the note to the largest drop down (24). Everything looks fine to me.
Bradley beat me to the reply. I guess the slider has been officially dropped. Makes sense to me.
