I hate video tutorials!

I just recently did a basic crossgrade to Logos 6 and would very much like to learn if it adds to my experience in any way, but I am totally frustrated and put off by the fact that information is buried either in video tutorials or in these forum posts. Call me old school, but those ways of communicating instructions are massive wastes of time. Many people don't need the hand-holding step by step of the video and many of us don't want to wade through a bunch of forum posts that may or may not be relevant to our questions. We just need simple, searchable, indexed text that explains operations clearly. Why has this disappeared?

Have you checked this thread out? It's fairly well organized and users have made personal books of this to bring it seamlessly into the software as a manual of sorts. Another has also made a Personal book out of the help option which is much more usable than the built in help file in my opinion.

When I find the Personal book threads I will link them, unless someone beats me to it:-)
