Still Waiting

It was in November that I upgraded to Logos 6 and received an email which said, "Your $50 to spend on a future order will be delivered in a separate email within the next 45 days.". It never came.

I complained on this board once about it, which of course is pointless. This is not how one contacts Logos.

I called Logos, talked to a very helpful fellow who said he was emailing whoever would get it out probably the next day,

It never came.

I am sure it is just a mistake, but I wonder, has anyone else had trouble getting the promised $50?

I was promised $50 from my purchase on 27th December 2014 and advised it would take 45 days. Today is the 45th day :-)

I'm sure it will get to me in the end, but I might be a bit less relaxed if I'd ordered in November...

I ordered the first week, and got my code on day 42 or 43.

I would definitely email in. Raydek is I think the guy whose helped me with not receiving (or glitches using) promised credits in the past.

We will resend the code to make sure you get it, but please check to make sure Logos emails aren't being filtered into a junk or trash email folder (we've had several people miss the code for this reason!).

I have checked, and that is not it. I get email from Logos every day.

Which is not to say that it could not be my mistake. (I made one once, as I recall.). Actually I frequently get two or three emails a day from Logos, and it is not impossible that I could have accidentally deleted it. I don't think so, but it is certainly possible. Generally, I read everything from Logos carefully because (1) I was looking for the money and already plotting what I would buy with it, and (2) I am a addicted to Logos books and have to see every offer.

But sometimes my brain is out of gear.

Thanks Kristen. I will call. I got an email from Logos about the free book of the month today, but nothing with the code. I have known ATT to keep my emails floating around out there somewhere for a day or two on occasions. In over 20 years I have never had a problem with Logos emails before (that I was aware of).

Thanks to everyone at Logos for their help in resolving this issue. I am still not sure what happened, but things happen. And in over 20 years of doing business with Logos, whenever something like this went wrong, Logos worked hard to make it right. You cannot ask for more than that from any business.

(Still a mystery why those emails - especially Kristen's last night - did not arrive in my inbox. They emailed me the code while I was on the phone, and it must have taken four or five minutes but it finally arrived. Perhaps something to do with ATT?

I got the code, and immediately spent it to help add the New Interpreter's Bible Commentary to my library at a great price. I think I will start looking for reasons to call Logos customer service. They have some great specials for those who call in. Let's see.... what can I call about tomorrow?

Rainer, it definitely seems calling customer service is the best way to fix this. Of course, I did call once, in the evening, and was told it would be taken care of. I feel sure they sent a email with the code, but I never received it. So the thing to do is call during business hours. That way they can fix it while you are on the phone.
