Save results of current project?

Hi there.
Logos 4
I am busy working on a project and have pulled out different resources from my library. Can I save that and retrieve that exact same layout/resources?

Indeed you can.
Click on "Layouts" (upper R corner of screen). Click on the little pencil next to the label under your current "snapshot", and give it a name.
See also "Help" [green circle with ? next to "Layouts"] --> Help on ... --> Layouts.

Thank you very much for a very good reply. I was not sure if I had to do it with layouts but you confirmed.
Thanx again.

And, when I bring the previous back up and work on it some more, I resave it the same way with the same name. I am also reading 2 books and I use a separate layout for them also called "Book" and after I read some I resave it back to "Book"...works great....

In the current beta you can right click the layout name you want to save over and select "update to current snapshot" rather then having to type the name in exactly. Great feature that should be coming down the pike soon for none beta users.

Thanx Philip.
Is the current beta OK for downloading and use?

No. Anytime you download Beta software you should expect it to break, cause disruptions your work and possibly result in the loss of data. The only time it should be considered "OK" is when it is released out of Beta by Logos. Lots of folks are using the Beta version, so I am not suggesting you should not try it, I just want to make sure you go in with full knowledge.Deon Holtzhausen said:Is the current beta OK for downloading and use?

Joe gave you a good rundown of the risks. Here's the official info and warnings.

Personally, I've found the Beta to be suitable for regular use.

Thank you all very much for the replies. I am making some progress. I am almost enjoying Logos 4. [8-)] It takes me now longer to learn how to search, store, make notes etc than it is to begin and finish a Bible study or sermon. But I am learning.
