If I open a NAC for the NT the Parallel Resource sets shown are Commentaries and All Parallel Resources. But it also appears in a NAC-NT collection ie. NAC volumes for the New Testament only:-
type:commentary title:"New American" subject:"N.T."

I would think that is because there are no "Parallel" volumes in that collection, i.e., there is only one volume for each passage (the current one) and there wouldn't be anything else to display.

This is true; and if you know this, you can speed up the system by unchecking the "Use in parallel resources" checkbox, so that it doesn't have to waste time figuring out whether it should show the collection or not every time you open a NAC volume.

Hi Bradley,
Thanks for weighing in... you got my attention on "speed up," but I'm not sure I follow on where you'd uncheck the "Use in parallel resources" checkbox. Say just a bit more?
Blessings, & thanks for all you do!
Bill
It's in the Collections window:

Duh!!
I was thinking about unchecking it then got caught wondering why it didn't appear whilst checked!
I'm glad to have helped anybody that was similarly confused ....
As a further thought:-
If you have collections for Bibles, English Bibles, Greek Bibles and Hebrew/Aram Bibles then consider unchecking/removing Bibles as a PRA, particularly as it might duplicate All Parallel Resources.
