I have been disappointed with the clarity of the maps and pictures when projected. They are fuzzy and not high resolution. The maps in general have been disappointing when compared to Logos 2 map set which has been discontinued.
Can you be more specific?
Are you referring to the Atlas, Biblical Places Maps or maps in resources you own?
While we're waiting for Max, I'd hope Logos can 'weigh in' (though I doubt it).
The reasons:
(1) I love high-res pictures; it's absolutely fascinating to zoom in and 'look around'. I especially like the archaeological pics, to closely examine. That's the (remaining) reason I buy media on Accordance.
(2) I'd assume the gentleman's (OP) concern is well worth 'fixing', given Faithlife trying to 'ecosystem' themselves into wealth, fame, and fortune. The more viewable the detail, the more ooh's and ahhh's.
However,
(3) I'd suspect Logos has a legacy of earlier books with low resolution (often delivered by the publishers). So, maybe Logos is already in the high-res business on its new ventures (eg L6 media)?
They are fuzzy and not high resolution.
They certainly vary by source. If you take an image or map from a book (not a map collection) it is likely to be low-resolution.
One source of maps and illustrations that I've found projects fairly well is the ESV Study Bible.
In some cases Logos has explained that the publisher did not have higher resolution copies to give to them. In a few cases, Logos went back and revised a resource with higher resolution images from the publisher.
We have access to a lot of maps and images, but the quality varies. Atlas maps project fairly well but sometimes there are other issues with them. Perhaps in time Atlas maps will be what we've been looking for. Until then, you will not be alone in voicing a desire for higher resolution maps and images.
