Comparing NIV2011 to NIV2011 Anglicised, why are all the footnotes missing in the Anglicised version? Is this a reflection on the print edition, or is this an oversight that will be corrected sometime?
Technically, what is missing are the cross references, not the footnotes. Not all Logos Bibles contain cross references, in fact only about a third do.
I'm particularly interested in why Anglicising a Bible involves the removal of all its cross references. I guess it's a reflection of the print edition?
You can get anglicised NIVs with or without cross references. With a Bible I think it's unlikely Logos worked from a print edition. I think it's more likely that the electronic copy of the NIV Logos were given didn't have the cross-references included. I can't see they'd have removed cross-references that were already there.
Fair enough ... I think "not included" rather than "removed" is closer to what I originally meant.

Mark with your vast library, which Bibles have the best cross references and footnotes?

I'm not Mark, but in the Passage Guide there is a "Cross References" section which generates them from various places, and also offers you the option of saving them as a Passage List you can work through. I tend to use that rather than individual Bible cross-referenes when working on a passage.
For cross references, the most comprehensive are:
All the Bibles that have cross-references will be used to generate the Cross References section of the passage guide.
As for which has the best footnotes, they're harder to count and assess. The NET Bible would certainly be top of the list, certainly. Others would include NABRE, NIV2011, NAB, KJV1900, GOD'S WORD, LEB, HCSB, ESV, CEV, ISV, NASB95, and Amplified.
Thanks Greg for the reminder about the Cross References Section of the passage guide.
And Mark for his brilliant answer about cross references. Its always good to see what resources are worth investing in, or ones that you are underutilized.
