BUG in highlighting

1. Add a highlight to a Bible passage

2. Add a bit of text so the exercise appears useful

3. Add an attachment point to the Bible passage

Expect: some indication of the existence of the note in another translation (yes with note file filter on)

Results: zilch

Need to either prevent the adding of attachment points or to honor them when present.

I honestly have no idea how these multi attached notes work... But my first thought: highlight notes are by "selection" and not by "reference."

It's due - I think - to the fact that when you create the first highlight you are creating a note with a "no-icon indicator" as evidenced by the empty white box associated with it.

When you add the attachment point this doesn't change the state of that indicator and so it remains invisible in other translations.

If you change the state of the icon then the notes appear in the other translations.

Ideally it would be nice to have a "per-attachment icon state" as opposed to just one for the note.

As Graham wrote: you (deliberately or not) configured the multi-attachment note to have an invisible note indicator - thus Logos shows exactly what you told it to show!

Thanks Graham, I'd almost tried that but when I looked at the drop down I reasoned that it would wipe out the highlight. Moral: try it!
