When reading a book in Logos 6 I would like to read a book on one device at work and find it opened to the same page when I get home. How can I set up Logos to do that?

    Hi Jimmy

As I understand it, if you make sure the 'book' is closed at home after each reading then when you open it after reading it at work it will sync to the same page.

If you leave the 'book' open on your home computer the system does not sync to the place on your work computer.

Of course if you want [the next day] for your work computer to be updated to the position on your home computer you will need to 'shut' the book before leaving work.

Between desktops I would advise you to have a layout with your book in it and adopt a Startup option (in Program Settings) of "Most recent layout - any". You must close Logos at work in order to start Logos at home and resume your reading/study (and vice-versa). Note that if you open a book not in your layout its position will be influenced by similar books in the layout.

Between mobile devices and desktops you should use the Favorites feature to save position in a book. It won't be opened for you as have to open it from Favorites.

Mike, you were so right.  With my laptop home for the weekend I just tried doing what you said and it worked like a charm.  Thanks for your help! - Jimmy
