Logos 6 will not start on windows 7

Went to use logos 6 today on my desktop running windows, click on Logos and the Logos 6 comes up but then will disappear and not load. Unsure where to go with the problem, should I uninstall and re-install Logos 6 and will this mean it will completely reload all the logos files?

Any help would be great, Logos 6 is working fine on my laptop.

I wouldn't go down the reinstall route until we get a better idea what is happening.

Please enable diagnostic logging, try and start Logos, and post logs in a reply to this thread. Details for doing this are at https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/windows/report-problem

Hi Graham,

I go to the link you gave me and are unable to enable diagnostic logging. I have tried step 1 and the sign in page wont come up. Unable to complete step 2. Have tried step 4 but come up with err. Any help would be great.

That has no information of value for solving your problem. In the Logos Logs folder are there other files? If so we need to see all the most recent ones. Zip them together and attach them to a follow-up.

This isn't a complete log file, which may indicate that the program is already running.

Have you tried rebooting your computer yet? If not, I'd suggest that as a first troubleshooting step (then upload a fresh set of logs if the program still won't start).

Bradley, when you say reboot is that just shutting down and restarting the computer? If so I have already done that. But if that is rebooting I will shutdown and try a restart of Logos.
