Issue with my downloaded books
I need some help with an issue. I have the Logos app and numerous books downloaded to my Android Tablet, Kindle Fire, and an iPad I purchased a couple of weeks ago. When not connected by Wi-Fi, I can access these downloaded resources on the Android Tablet and Kindle Fire with NO problems at all.
I can see the resources on the iPad. It shows they are downloaded. However, I cannot access them. Does anyone know why this may be? Anyone else had an issue like this? No issues when connected to Wi-Fi, but they are useless when not on Wi-Fi.
Thanks. Ken F.

Hi Ken - and welcome to the forums

Sounds very strange.
What happens when you try and open these downloaded resources when your iPad is offline?
Do you get an error message or does just nothing happen?
If you try removing one of the downloaded books and downloading it again does that help?

Welcome! Sorry for your troubles [:s]
No issues when connected to Wi-Fi, but they are useless when not on Wi-Fi.
I <think> there was a bug, although I never experienced it. Which version are you currently running? In the mean time, here are some things to try:
- Make sure your software is up to date.
- Restart the device (perform a FULL shut down)
- Type rebuild index on the home page box.
If none of those work, you might need to reinstall. I notice that you said you had "numerous" books downloaded. I have about 100. Personally, I don't recommend much more than that for most users. Often the best fix for glitches is to reinstall.

I have the same problem. Resources, even if in theory are downloaded are just available with internet connection, I'm using 4.4.2 (4.4.22503) in Spanish. And also if I touch a verse reference, that doesn't appear if I'm not connected. I enjoy a lot Logos, but that bug is annoying

Did you try my fixes in the post above yours?

I have the same problem. I did everything except re-install the program. I own thousands of books on Logos and don't want to take hours to download all my resources again. Is there another way of fixing it? Accessing my resources while on the plane and on the road (without Wi-Fi) is critical for my studies. So, is there another way of fixing this? Also, how did this problem occur since it never did that before? I probably will re-install the app and let it download the resources as I sleep tonight, sigh.

i know this isn't what you want to hear, but the app really isn't meant to have thousands of resources downloaded. Corruptions to the installation happen, which will require a reinstall. Also, problems can arise when you don't have the newest version of the resource downloaded. It is much simpler to keep up with that when you have 100 downloaded resources vs. 1000. Do you not have a laptop for travel?
