Word (docx) bookmarks in Personal Books

I have docx files in which links for footnotes are Word bookmarks rather than proper footnotes. Will PBB recognize these links? Alternatively, is there a way to convert them to proper footnotes in the docx file? I've tried searching the forums and the Wiki and haven't been able to discover the answer.

You should just create a test book with the .docx. It shouldn't take but a minute or two to check.

A Word bookmark that is referenced elsewhere in the document will do two things in a PB:

The paragraph that contains the bookmark will pop up on mouse over at the place of the hyperlink. I'm not sure if the bookmarked word should be the first word, but that's generally going to be the case, anyway.
Clicking on the hyperlink will jump to the bookmarked location.

I don't know of a simple way to convert this arrangement to traditional footnotes, but if I were you, I would leave them as is, since they will be functionally very similar to footnotes.

Thanks, Robert. That does help. I still would like to figure out how to convert them to footnotes, in part because I'd like the footnotes to show on the page in Logos (with columns on). The reason for this is that several of the footnotes will have references to Logos resources.
