This looks like one of the most important series Logos could possibly get its hands on. Sooner rather than later, please. This is associated with the Society of Biblical Literature. Also, please be aware that there are more titles than the 99 they show on this page (counting all pages), so please negotiate for the complete series. Some of the individual titles I want are not listed here.

Yes, thank you for reminding me, George. Logos will have to emphasize with all of its arm-twisting sweetness that an entirely different mindset will be necessary if they want to make money on these titles. Rather than the Rolls-Royce pricing model they will need to adopt the Yugo pricing model. Bob understands this model well and has conveyed the wisdom of the volume sales approach with numerous publishers in the past. This will need to be priced in the $5-10 per title range if they want to get it out of PrePub and put some money in their pockets. They can sell thousands in one fell swoop or a dozen a year, if they're lucky. It's up to them. My credit card is ready to do business.

Logos might work wonders on getting a price break on these, but I doubt that they will ever be in the $5-$10 range or even what I would consider to be a normal range (~$30). They might be able to offer the whole as a unit at a price which would be reasonable if considered on a per volume basis, but it would still cost big bucks.

I hate to see something in books that I want and not be able to afford it.

I believe the term is "haggling". I'm a staunch believer in not revealing my final price. And, yes, this will only "happen" if it is offered as a huge collection, and so it will be pricey in total. But to make it happen, the value must be greater...i.e. the price per resource will have to be significantly less than what you are suggesting. Otherwise, the publisher and their authors will have to make do with pocketing 100% of nothing. It's their call.

There are several such books in Logos that cost over $100 individually, but are deeply discounted in a set. This could work here.

Thanks for including that link. The titles I want are listed. I repeat...this is probably the most important series Logos doesn't have. Mountains of gold here.
