In case anyone missed them:
Revelation: A Shorter Commentary by G. K. Beale is a shortened version of his NIGTC volume (ships 2/20). It doesn't offer a major discount over regular price, but it is still cheaper than the paper version on amazon.com.
The Anchor Yale Bible: Revelation: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary by Craig Koester is more heavily discounted (ships 2/25). I am very excited about this volume.
Thank you!
Thank you! Koester looks like a real gem. This would be easier to confirm if the sample pages showed some of his exegetical analysis.
Below are 3 lectures from 2013 at Pittsburgh Seminary which Koester gave regarding Revelation. Well worth watching. Lots of good background information, dialogue with the text, and all presented powerfully.

You can also find his course lecture audio on Revelation here, as well as his full Bible course here.
Where does Koester sit in the theological continuum? Protestant? Eschatological approach? Reformed, pentecostal?
