Automating the import of a passage list and assignment of a visual filter to each verse

Through the General forum, I have learned that Logos 6 has the ability to import a Passage List from a text file, assign a Visual Filter such that I can then attach a unique image to each imported verse through an assigned Highlight - I am thankful to all who contributed.  

I use MemLok (word/picture memory association) for scripture memory, and I have more than 400 verses I want to import into my passage list. To accomplish the ultimate goal, I have a lot of configuration to do!

I am hoping to automate the task, as my passage list will grow over time, and I'd like to continuously synchronize MemLok with Logos.

Does Logos have an API that I can utilize?  Does the API give me access to the features I will need?

Or, is there a more sophisticated import mechanism that would allow me to automate the creation of Highlights?  

Or, is there a more sophisticated import mechanism for a Visual Filter that will build the search criteria that I need?

The Logos API can't be utilised for this, nor is there any likelihood it will, being over 4 years old (from Logos 4.2) and with a (past) FL statement that it wasn't being enhanced for Logos 5!

If there is a more "more sophisticated" Import than what the Help file states I'm sure you would have been told by now.

At this stage, then, you should make a suggestion in UserVoice.
