Suddenly cannot highlight
I was still able to do highlighting in a book yesterday, but now both my iPhone and iPad do not let me delete or add highlight. It only magnifies the area I touch in a bubble and nothing can be done to change text. Hyperlinks also stops popping up the scripture or resources. I restarted both devices but the problem still exists.

I have seen this problem before but it went away without any explanation. So that isn't much help I'm afraid

I don't think I have seen that before.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help identify what is going on.

I have seen this too... but not in a while. I am a beta tester, so sometimes I see things that others don't...
What version of iOS are you using? What version of the app are you using?

My iPhone is using the latest 8.1.3 while I kept my iPad on 8.0. They were both able to show the highlight yesterday, but today it stopped working.
I wonder if this is related to pagination because this happened after the book shows some graphics and the "page number" at the bottom would be stuck for a while.
Now the problem still exists on both my devices. And when I touch and drag, sometimes it will highlight a section above to where I touch, but I cannot get back to the same highlight by touching the highlighted area.

Which book are you referring to? Also, do highlights work in other books?

The book is New American Commentary: Judges and Ruth by Daniel Block.
I just tried another book and the highlighting works. It seems after P.52 in the book above that will not work.

This issue has already been fixed internally and should be available in the next stable release.
