Earlier today I purchased the Journals of the evangelical theological society. For some reason it does not show up in the journal section of the passage guide for any text I search for.

If you are running beta, you need to post in the beta forum. This thread may be moved there.
It sounds like you might have the indexing bug. I don't know where in the world you are located now, but it might not hurt for you to reindex your system overnight. Do you have a traditional hard drive or an SSD?

I will let you use your better judgment then based on your time & how long you think it might index. I <think> you need to reindex (command rebuild index )but that is a nuclear option.

Your symptoms sound similar, but that doesn't mean you have the same problem...
The issue, however, effected a number of users on beta (including myself). In most cases, a reindexing can happen overnight, but if your library is particularly large and your free space particularly small... it may take (much) longer.
I only have a little over 3,000 books, and I don't need Logos immediately so it should be ok. Thanks.
JETS is one of the older journals which Galaxie put together. I do not think it includes the right tagging to put in the journals section, and is unlikely to get it until Logos gets an agreement with ETS to produce a new, fully featured one.
